Thanks guys, it’s Iron Man 1 Was debating whether to get a graded, might now just to encase it so I don’t have to look at these! The cover still looks really good IMO, might post more pics in the “spare me a grade” sub.

Wondering if these are Silverfish bite marks or another bug? Cover is fine but similar pattern of marks on pretty much all the internal pages. I don’t know much about the type of bugs that eat comics, only one I’m aware of is Silverfish. There’s no visible bugs in the comic but are there any bugs that eat comics that are hard to see with the naked eye? I’m slightly concerned about introducing this to my collection if there’s any chance there could be live bugs still present : (

Thank you marvelmaniac for such a detailed and comprehensive response it’s much appreciated. Similar grade to what I was thinking/hoping. Also the stamp on the cover is a UK price stamp. Sadly one of the perils of being a UK collector. Although I think the placement on this particular comic is quite good, almost looks like he’s wearing a badge : ) I’ve previously seen some extremely obnoxiously placed price stamps!

Hi, thanks for the response. I take it the consensus is that this would effect the desirability of the comic then? As in if you had two available at the same grade you'd want the one without the wedges.

Hi, I've been collecting comics for years and have been recently considering getting some of my collection graded and also possibly purchasing some comics that have already been graded. On a few graded comics I was considering buying i've noticed plastic tabs on the rear cover (see image). Are these inside the CGC holder? Also why are they on some holders and not others? Apologies if this has been asked before, i've been lurking on the forum for a couple of weeks but haven't found an answer. Thanks in advance.
