    This could have been handled better, I agree. I had a better experience. Like West, I offered less than the full asking price on a piece I'd been watching for almost a year. I liked the cover a lot, but it was pricey. Mike responded quickly and professionally. He checked with the artist, all was well, and I received the artwork promptly. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again.

    ...and if you were going to fake a Kirby, you'd probably go for a bad pin-up (as they do, because it's less time-intensive) or a cover (because $$$). Has anyone here came across a phony multiple -panel interior page created by a fraudster? I'm guessing not many, if any at all.

    Nice cover! It's a treat to see ANY Farrell/Ajax issues. I've never seen an Ajax romance in the wild. Even the incredible Dr. Love appears to have less than a handful.

    She had a shortish run in the 60's, but the character has never completely gone away. Superteen keeps returning. She even popped up again last year in "Superteens vs. Crusaders", a two-issue mini-series. It was a fun read, even if Betty looked more like the "Riverdale" Betty. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

    Rob, I see there's a mold issue. Is there a method to fix this? Would there be any risk to other artwork? (Possibly no problem at all, but I just don't know.)

    Although I love original art, I'd enjoy seeing some modern published covers in this forum. I've always liked this Red Sonja cover by Lopresti, for example.

    I enjoy ComicArtTracker, and use it frequently. Thanks, Nico! Weird thing happened this morning, though: When I type in "Bob Montana", I get 29 results -- but no images or working links to take me to the results. When I type in Sekowsky, Oksner, or what have you, everything pops up as expected. Anyone else experience a similar issue?

    John Buscema is one of the greats (his brother, Sal, has said so, too, in the past). He was also prolific. There are thousands of JB pages available. If his available output was as limited as BWS, we'd see a huge bump in the price of John Buscema artwork. IMO.

    Interiors. The guy on the cover is too pretty to reflect Ditko's original take on Spidey. (As iconic as the cover is.). Besides, the character's mythology is based entirely on the interior pages. When people/cartoons/movies/tv recount the origin, they always reference the story.
