  1. At first glance, I thought both of the hands in this panel belonged to Punisher, which made me think, "how is he holding that sword? Did he get a new logo and a genetic modification... downstairs... ?"
  2. I paid $125 for a Campbell trade variant 9.8 in September, and now it looks like they're about $200. Not like it's skyrocketing or anything, but good to see it going the right direction.
  3. Just for fum, I found that there is a Hugga Bunch movie, and it's on YouTube. And it looks nightmare-inducing. Although, if you're someone who partakes in certain substances, it could be fun/interesting to watch while partaking, just saying:
  4. Someone else posted this in a different thread a while ago, so I give them the credit for pointing it out (I just can't remember who posted it) - but the new Punisher logo looks a bit like this: Kind of ironic... I think the new logo looks like it would be some type of Predator skull or something.
  5. Some recent pickups - pulled the RWBY from a Walmart pack: Also, I was the sole bidder on this following lot on eBay. The starting bid amount was $150, and high starting bids can sometimes deter bidders, but I felt like it was a decent deal - these are 9.8 contenders, and I've seen Batman 635 in worse condition than this one sell by itself for as much or close to what I paid for the lot (more in some cases). For what it's worth, the listing didn't call out 635 - it was listed as "Batman 634-641 + Annual 25" - maybe it would have gotten more eyes if 635 was in the listing? I don't know, I'm just happy I got it...
  6. Cover is kind of cool too (at least, I think so). This was definitely supposed to be the case, but I found a shop online that was selling them for $4 each when they released, so I bought two copies from them. I don't think they were supposed to be sold separately. Cover:
  7. I guess I'd say wrap then grade? But also, if it's a book I want to add to the collection (i.e., long-term hold, not going to sell anytime soon if ever), I'll often go for a lower grade if the higher grade is a massive jump. Like if the 9.8 is 4-5x the price of a 9.4/9.6, I'll go for the lower grade usually.
  8. 227, 232 and 234 are the books I feel I still "need," but I keep getting distracted by other good deals and shiny things and spending my budget elsewhere. I like 227 - a lot - but I'm still glad I picked up 244 and 251 first for my collection. I'll have a 227 one day. Also would love a 'Tec 400. Anyway, back to the Toddfather...
  9. No, that's Batman 357 - double key as a CGC-noted first appearance of Killer Croc too (although that's debatable).
  10. 423 is definitely the more popular image, no doubt. I'm just surprised the 'Tec cover doesn't get more love in general as his first major title cover (and interior Todd pencils too, and a good story on top of that, at least compared to 423 - and the 'Tec is part of a "semi-key" storyline).
  11. The I Am Batman packs seem to be the ones to get. Popped into Walmart today, and they had one I Am Batman pack (and a couple of the other, old packs that came with masks). I bought it, and it had the RWBY cover B in it.
