  1. I agree! I actually also have this four-pack set and a box set of the four in black and white too. I was shocked when I saw what they're selling for on eBay, might have to bite the bullet and sell... They are ridiculously cool though.
  2. Was doing some spring cleaning and came across these two in storage. I didn't realize how pricey/hard to find these are now... bought them back when they first came out...
  3. 3 Rockstar Bradygames Guides - GTA 3; GTA Vice City and State of Emergency - $15 for the lot
  4. First in the thread wins. No probation or HOSers. Buyer pays actual shipping, happy to work with you to get a good shipping cost. Pay by Paypal, no international buyers (sorry) and no returns. I don't have a Kudos thread, but I have had a few transactions on the board - I'm usually a buyer, but have a few things I want to start to sell. Open to reasonable offers, "take its" in thread win out over PM negotiations though. Listing some strategy guides for various games, mostly from the PS1/PS2/Gamecube era. Most of these are in used condition but were fairly well taken-care of. Some have store stickers from their original purchase. I'll list a couple to start and to see if there's any interest, and we can go from there. I can provide additional photos/info if needed.
  5. Since there are a lot of sellers here, what do you think a reasonable time period is for a buyer to wait before they reach out to ask about something being shipped? I bought two books from a seller on Friday. I always pay immediately when an auction ends or when I do a BIN. The seller still hasn't shipped (eBay's original estimated delivery time is this Thursday, 4/29, based on the seller's shipping and handling settings, which obviously isn't going to happen at this point).
  6. Sometimes being a Bat-fan is ok because there are still deals on keys compared to the hot Marvel books. And there are still deals available on eBay, but you do have to hunt a ton (which is actually part of the fun for me). Buying lots you can end up with a lot of filler issues, but depending on the lot price you can make it worth it with 1-2 key books and the filler is gravy you can sell off cheap. Got a couple of nice recent wins that just came in: Paid $21.50 for a 10-book lot ($2.15 a book), including Batman 626, 628, 658, 664, 666, 667, 668, 670, 671, 673. Apparently 664 is getting spec'd on because of a Punchline connection (I'm not caught up...). Batman 666 is first Damian Wayne as Batman and first Professor Pyg. Paid $12 for a Detective run of 846-852 - 850 is the first Gotham City Sirens And I won a 130-issue lot of Batman for an average of $1.36 an issue. Lot of filler and a bunch of 7.5-9.0 stuff throughout this one, but a couple of key gems and a bunch of lesser issues that are still good story runs or minor-minor "keys" (Jason Todd's origin in Batman 408 for example). The pics were tough to judge by and I took a chance, but I'm glad I did because of at least one book in particular... I'm planning on keeping around 50 issues and getting rid of the rest - if you need 90s Batman filler issues or story run issues, let me know. These are mid-grade unfortunately, but nice to have the set raw I suppose. Might end up selling these. First appearance of Renee Montoya 608 has some spine issues unfortunately, but cool that it's a newsstand. The whole Hush run was in the lot, and luckily much higher grade than this issue. First appearance of Tommy Elliot (Hush) First appearance of Jason Todd as the Red Hood

  8. As a Batman fan, most bronze-modern Batman keys. I hope. If DC could figure out their extended universe like Marvel did, there are a lot of books that are fairly cheap right now with a lot of room to grow...
  9. Yeah, I went back and forth a bit with myself over the crease, but knowing that I've really wanted a Shelly Moldoff art/Bill Finger story issue for a while, specifically with Ace on the cover, I bit the bullet. They had it listed at $28 and we ended up at $23. I've seen more beat up copies sell for more than that, so I can live with it. Thanks all!
  10. Pretty clean copy overall, just wondering where it might grade, especially with that unfortunate cover crease. Either way, this is a keeper for me, and I think I did ok on price...
  11. Thrilled to have gotten this one - I've wanted a Shelly Moldoff/Ace the Bat-Hound cover for a while (Ace reminds me of my pup, Ellie), and found one with a good price. Great Bill Finger story too, including Bat-Mite! Also picked up another book with a cover I love - Detective 566

I don't have a Kudos thread, but I have had a few transactions on the board - I'm usually a buyer, but have a few things I want to start to sell. Selling a few brand-new-in-box Star Wars Force Link ships and sets, and figured I'd bring them to the boards first before going to eBay. If you want to see additional photos of anything, let me know. Open to reasonable offers. Kylo Ren's Tie Silencer - $40 First Order Special Forces Tie Fighter - note that the box is a little crushed at the top - $25 Solo Force Link 2.0 Millennium Falcon - $15 Force Link Starter Set with Kylo Ren - $5 Rathtar with Bala-Tik - box shows some shelf wear - $8 Imperial Probe Droid with Darth Vader - $20
  13. When I saw this book, two things ran through my mind: 1 - God, I want that book; and 2 - I am in the way wrong profession. Good luck with the sale!
  14. I just had to say, I think this copy looks really cool like this - like, you can see how well-read and well loved it is/was. I know a lot of times we get caught up in highest grades and whatnot, and it's cool to see a book like this in read and worn condition. Nice one!
