Apocalypse looked pretty good in terms of being a viable bad guy. I thought the story line would be more in line with the Age of Apocalypse story line but it looks like they are going more for the good vs evil battle royal.

It is moving well because it was talked about on that site. Lemmings. If Wizard only had a website in the 90s they would have been able to invent hot books so much quicker.

I grew up in Fairbanks Alaska and the coldest I saw was 68 below one year. Life pretty much stops at that temp since the air in your tires deflates and you get frost bite in a matter of minutes.

Just finished it and although it could have been better it definetely picked up half way thru and kept it going. Overall a good fun series. I've got to go scan my DD 4s now.

Does it get better after the 1st few? I have no desire to go on but I really liked Daredevil. It does get better at episode 5 or so. I'll probably finish up the series tonight and I can't wait to see how this finish up where as I had a tough time watching more then 2 episodes at a time in the beginning.

I'm on episode 10 after doing some marathon watching while scanning books. My wife hopped in and watch a couple episodes and felt like the show just didn't have the soul of Daredevil and Flash. I would have to agree the show just doesn't connect as well as those two shows and the show dips into depressing rather then gripping. The last three episodes have been a lot better to me since Purple Man is in it and the pace is picking up a bit.

Wasn't me but watched a buddy trade a Star Wars 1 35 cent variant for a Secret Wars 4 when it came out. Who knew.

Watched three episodes today and I liked them but the series can't be compared to Daredevil. I literally had a hard time stopping to go to bed once I started Daredevil whereas JJ is a standard show where I watch a couple episodes and come back another day. I'd rate it a solid B so far.

Rom #1 seems to be heating up everywhere.

I've been buying up all the Uncanny X-Men 148 & Uncanny X-Men 169 when I see them at a good price. 1st Caliban and the Morlocks seems like a no brainer to me. Of course now I have 30 copies of both so they are definitely not hard to find.

$64 for a 9.8? Seems really low. Looks like that's been the going price for awhile based on GPA. Now the $79 and $72 look like nice prices for that book.

I'd say the last few have been pretty similar to a busy weekend on the sales threads but it's different and always worth a look. It use to be the only place some big sellers like Greegy moved books but hopefully new blood will step up and sell some books. It is what we make it.

The guy I bought the NM+ copy from is in Canada - bet I bought one of your copies.

This guy may be on to something. I bid on a 9.8 and stopped at $200 - it just ended on E-Bay at $318! That's almost double last GPA. Glad I listened to his advice and grabbed a NM+ possible 9.8 copy earlier this week for $40.

I actually hope they do kill him off this season because his character is just too violent and powerful to have around for a long time. I've got no problem having Kingpin in jail but the show version of Purple Man appears to be just too evil to not kill him off.

Here is a question - will the price of Daredevil 4 crash pretty much immediately once the show is released if he dies in the last episode? A typical show we would have 13 weeks of build up but since they release all the episodes at once will the normal run up time be eliminated? Or will the slow trickle of new fans finding the show cause books to heat up and then potentially crash once "everyone" has seen the season? Kingpin didn't die so we can't use Daredevil as an example and I can't think of another show to use as reference.

Waited 5 weeks to get back my Neal Adams signed JO 134 and was excited to see it got a 7.0. Needless to say not so excited after opening up the package: The entire lower edge is completely smashed. Doesn't look like there is any damage to the inner well or the book but not what I expected after all the waiting. Oh well - I'll give CGC a call tomorrow morning.

I don't get the point of your post. A consigner and a dealer working together - And congrats to Peach for developing a strong enough E-Bay following that Roy would use him to sell some high priced books.
