Are these estimates?

That whole chanel is geared to the 12-16 year old market so I can see why the 18 year and older crowds would not like it.

My daughter who is almost 13 says the show Pretty Little Liars is a huge hit with the teen crowd and she likes Shadowhunters. At least the channel has a teen following which will bode well in the future in terms of Cloak and Dagger being relevant for awhile.

Big hit is relative. Do I see it being as good as Daredevil - no. But I see it being more in the category as IZombie which is still good in its own way. I'm not even sure which direction they will go with the show but as they say - any publicity is good publicity.

No new news on that issue - think you should just sell me your copies before they start going down in value.

7 times more ASM 252 CGC 9.8 on census compared to PP 64 CGC 9.8. I'm sure that number will go up if the price keeps going up but that's a vast difference in numbers. There are plenty of this book out there. I just don't think people have bothered slabbing it yet. Before this recent pop there were NO sales of CGC copies of the book, but plenty of raw sales (at respectable prices). With that said, I don't know what the respective print-runs were. Need to find my copies. Of course, my OO copy was read by my brother and I about 25 times each, so I'm sure that one is pretty rough. Could be and I'm sure plenty of 9.6 will be cracked, pressed and resubbed if the price goes crazy but PP 64s have been $400 - $550 book in 9.8 for a couple years. Are you saying people have been sitting on them since $500 was just not enough of an incentive to get their high grade copy subbed?

Based on those census numbers and the possibility of a hit show (up in the air on that one) I'd not be surprised it its a $800 - $900 book in the next year.

Good question but I think most people do not look back and say "wow - could have bought it for half yesterday". They didn't care about the book yesterday so the going price is what is necessary to buy the book they want and they pay it. Now if you are a flipper (speculator) and paying the double price then you better be sure that show will be good.

22 graded copies flew off the shelves today on E-Bay.

I'm going to be so happy when the guy sends my the tracking info for that 9.8. He has 14,000 feedback with no negs this year so I've got good vibes. The prices popping up for 9.8s is crazy.

I always like the stuff where kingpin is the bad guy. Bring him over from Daredevil.

It is tougher in 9.8 than many books of that vintage. I have subbed three. They were all borderline copies and they all got 9.6s. I've subbed two great copies and got a 9.6 and 9.4 for my troubles.

There isn't even one up in the Feature ComicLink auction - only a 9.6s. Everyone must have been holding on to them hoping for an announcement.

Just checked the census and there is "only" 121 CGC 9.8 out there. It's been a $400 - $500 book for a couple years so you would think most of the high grade copies would have been submitted by now.

I just bought a copy for $415 shipped off of E-Bay (which is about the current GPA) since I've been on the fence for a few weeks and decided now is the time to buy. Wish I would have kept that CGC 9.6 a few months ago.

I was buying a NM copy and the seller pulled the book while I was checking out. At least it saved us both the hassle of him not sending me the book.
