  1. Thanks @Rich_Henn Will look for the invoice for Batman 77 when it shows in INVOICES. Who knows maybe will see another book to buy
  2. Thanks for the update @CMatthews I just saw it shipped yesterday and will be arriving Friday. Ugh, just as I am away and will not be back till late Sat. With Fed Ex, is it 3 attempts? If so, I should be ok. If not, package is sent back and what will I have to do to get it to be resent? Thanks
  3. Hi, seeing something odd with 1 of my submissions. It is a sig series submission, submission 4106145 (order CGC9513649916) The initial status was Received at CCS on 8/5/22 which is expected and I know the signing occurred per your FB posting but today it jumped to Grading/Encap/Imaging but the date still remained the same, 8/5/22. I did not receive any email receipt confirmation of it moving from CCS to status Scheduled for Grading like I normally would. So I am wondering if you can verify it has gone through process of pressing/cleaning and secondly why the date has not been updated to reflect status change and why I have not received the email about it moving to CGC from CCS. Thanks!
  4. Received new shipment from signing that occurred at Wicked Comic Con in Boston back in 04/22. It was my first experience with Captured Collectibles and was very positive. There was some artists who I wanted to get books signed (Ken Ashley, Sean Murphy and Klaus Janson) and they were the facilitators on site. They took the time to walk me through the process as this was my first time doing so and accompany me to each signing. As part of the package, I requested pressing/cleaning (esp DD 184 which initially was in bad shape). Books took close to 7 months but they were great throughout wait. They were responsive to my emails giving me status updates and were also able to add custom labels to them (those were new labels added to CGC after the signing so I was fortunate to get them and they do look nice). I was very happy with the results and with my experience with them. Note, they shipped books to me and did not come from CGC direct.
  5. As long as it is received you are good. Will take some time to show up on status. Signing will not be for a while. Also signing goes first and then pressing.
  6. Sweet. I am kind of surprised that you were able to get that custom label added. Thought at the time of submission that those were retired but I could be wrong. I had submitted a Spider-Man and was looking for a custom label but no Spidey option.
  7. Another Submission delivered and have to say my worst one overall and it was due to damage to my book by poor handling either occurred at the signing or at pressing. Trust me, book was damage free and securely packaged when sent. Here are some timelines for reference for the Kael Ngu signing 09/19 - Received at CCS 10/24 - Scheduled for Grading. Signing occurred at NYCC on 10/04 10/26 - G/E/I 10/27 - G/QC 11/08 - Shipped 11/11 - Delivered. Expected both to be 9.6-9.8 and one did get a 9.8 (Yeah!) but the other came back 8.5...Ouch. If you see the 3rd pic, you will see the damage done to book. Even states it in Grader Notes, (light staple tears) Happy for one but disappointed for the other.
  8. @Ninja0215 were you notified to update your cc? The update credit card button shows up for all. You can ignore if you do not need to. See this forum entry -
  9. General question, thought I would try here first before reaching out to ComicLink. I won my first auction on ComicLink recently (and paid for) but have not heard anything of item being shipped. What is your experience of shipping from them? When to expect update and notification? Thanks!
  10. Ok, books are moving and submissions are showing up in my view (ie Todd McFarlane) but I am happy to report, I got 1 book back! This is for the Larry Hama signing which I think took place during NYCC. Here are the dates for your reference 08/05 - entered, Received at CCS 10/27 - Scheduled for Grading 11/03 - Grading / Quality Control 11/04 - Shipped 11/07 - Received And no grader notes but happy with the grade. Higher than I thought but press helped.
  11. @Girg Correct. Clean and press after the signing. It will stay at Received at CCS until it is done and then move over to CGC for grading and the statuses will change each step of the way in this order, Scheduled for Grading (SFG) Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging (GEI) Grading/Quality Control (GQC) Shipped
  12. And just like that, my Rose Besch submission shows up in my Submission Status View.
  13. I just noticed today that my TM now show up on my view (Received at CCS) so it should start showing for others. What's odd is my other submission is not showing up that had cutoff before TM like Rose Besch though I know it was received. I have submitted others (Capullo, McNiven) but expect those to be logged later as they are still open I have also noticed my prior submission are making some traction (Ngu, Hama). I will post status progress for those when complete.
  14. The signing occurred on the week of Oct 19. CGC posted something on their Facebook page and Gleason also commented the same on Twitter. So start the clock from around that week for roughly getting your books back.
  15. That is correct about books being logged as I have experienced myself. They will log the books that have earlier signing cut off first than others that have later cut off. As long as your package shows up under submission, you are good. The books will jus be moved to another pile to be entered at later time.
  16. That's what I do. For each submission, each goes in their own gemini package and I place all packages in 1 box to ship. Make sure you place the submission form in the gemini package or tape it on the outside of the gemini. I place all of their initials on the 1 big box and ship. No issues in sending it this way as I have done this multiple times. Note, for the the one that is slabbed, do consider including a window bag if you want placement of signature on specific location of book.
  17. Correct. Send in the slab as is and include a custom window bag for them to place the comic in. The window bag should be made where you want the signature / remark to be and on the painter tape, add special notes like what color pen you want). If you do not include your own custom window bag, they will place it in one of theirs and the creator will sign where ever they want. I have done this in the past and has always worked (color and location) so they do follow your wishes.
  18. What's in the box? Seriously, which comics did you finally decide on? Still working on mine.
  19. they are listed as being there based on the events page, https://www.cgccomics.com/submit/events/. there are a bunch of facilitators who will be there as well.
  20. Based on the low certification number, the date of the signing may be correct so that is not it. My guesses.... 1) missing George Perez signing information 2) wrong grade...should be higher
  21. Hi, I sent in 3 SS in 1 shipping and I see that 2 of the submissions are showing (note, 1 submission was broken into 2 submissions due to custom labels) but I am still missing 1 submission from that order not showing. Not sure. Can you check on on CGC2546162763 (Ryan Stegman)? I wonder if the ones that were processed were due to them being in the same signing (Legendary International Creators) while the missing one is not part of that. Thanks for any info.
  22. Funny, I just sent my books in last week to facilitator for signing at NYCC. Cut off date makes it look like he would sign at the earliest after RICC which is first weekend of Nov.
