Status has finally change to G/E/I. What is odd is I contacted SS last week and they said my books were finalized in grading but the status never updated until today.

Hi, can I get an update? I did send an email to SS and initial response I received was This submission has been finalized in our grading department and should be set to ship out shortly. However the status is still showing Received at CCS so I am unsure if above is true and if it is, why the status has not changed. Thanks

Ouch, sorry to see this. You did nothing wrong. Here's what you can do in the future which has worked (for comic creators) in the past for when you send in an existing slab that you want to get signed 1) when sending in a slab, send in your own cut up window bag where you want signature to go with the slab When they crack, CGC will crack slab and place in the bag for signing. If no bag, then they will use theirs which is the one they sell/advertise which allows them to sign anywhere 2) when you create your window bag, you can write in on the painter tape your request for the color you want for the signature.

Hi, this is for the SS Lee private signing, for order CGC3469595052 submission 4044534 Looking for status update as it looks to be past the time period for book. Believe signing happened mid-May (around Megacon) and status is still Received at CCS Can you check on order? Thanks!

For this signing event, it is a drop off. You fill out form and drop off books for them to sign. For raw books, they should be in window bags for where they will sign. For books in slab, if you want signature to be in specific place then create one as well and hand it to rep along with the slab. They will crack open and place book in the window bag. Note, there will be a charge for cracking it. As for shipping, remember, books will be signed and then pressed if you selected and then encased and then shipped back to you at later time (they claim up to 8 weeks after). The signings are not for pick up when you are there if that is what you were thinking.

My Inhyuk Lee submission is still at "Received at CCS" (marked at 4/13/22) and the signing happened on 5/18 and 5/19. Nearing the the 8 week turn around time

My last remaining Brian Michael Bendis book finally arrived. Books signed on 03/20/22 I sent in 2 books, both to be pressed by CCS. The difference of the 2 was that the Ultimate Spider-Man has a custom label and that came about a month after the other book which had none. Is custom labels delaying books? For the books, I sent in Iron Man raw and for Ultimate Spider-Man it was already slabbed and graded 9.2. Was hoping for bump and at the worse, to stay the same grade and it did, so all good. I forgot the issue was also a Newsstand so nice surprise for me. Need to find comps for it.

I think they are. I just got back my Terry Austin SS submission and that took a while (included CCS)

Good for you. My Bendis SS submission has been in SFG since beginning of May. Hope it makes some movement next week. What is odd is that I already got one back and both went to CCS like you. I would have thought that they would have been done together and sent back together like my other submissions.

Finally got back my submission for the Terry Austin signing. Very happy with results. Bought comic when it was released. Had pressing by CCS and custom label added.

I had both pressed at CCS. I got one back and the other is SFG status. Only difference for the 2 is one has a special label while other which I received already did not. Doubt that is it, just an observation If it matters, I finally got an update for my Terry Austin signing which I had pressed and it finally moved to SFG today from CCS. Went to CCS in 2/22 so it took a while.

What makes you think your books are not signed? What status is it in? I received 1 back already and still waiting for another which is SFG status.

No. COAs means nothing for Signature Series. They have to be witnessed. You would get yellow/green label if he or others signs it while being witnessed.

Just when I sent in a bunch of DD issues...that DD label would've looked nice. Oh well Though I am happy to see Moon Knight as I have some I will be sending in shortly and they have art by Finch so it works out.

@ADAMANTIUM Congrats on getting back UF4 from the signing! Nice. I just got back 1 book from Bendis signing and awaiting my other book.
