they're not that expensive depending on grade, and if you want to stop at 441 be my guest, past that number are some meh Campbell covers and no they're not variants.

There are a few that are that way, but are still fun to collect.

ASM#: 410, 430, 431, and then vol 2 is considered the rest of the #400's I guess because when vol 2 is over then it goes back to $500, so of vol 2 there is #30 :)

AND a few other J. Scott Campbell covers

    Thanks.

The first series ends at 441 though, right?

Id like to just complete that run and im up to 400.

Should I just wait until all those books come down in price?

I really dont wanna pay "key" money for hyped books.

Oh and the Campbell covers...are they variants?

I dont wanna collect variants, they make my head hurt.

The initial claim almost always goes the buyers way. However if you disagree and appeal they can and will decide in the sellers favor. If you’re in the right that is.

I recently had an issue with a buyer claiming the item wasn’t as described. He stated I didn’t disclose color breaking  spine tics and you couldn’t see them in the pics. Not only could you see them clearly in the pics but I also listed it in the description.

Ebay initially decided in the buyers favor. I appealed it and won. eBay refunded the buyer from eBay funds not mine and let them keep the book. Which is ridiculous. If I “won” the buyer shouldn’t be able to keep the book.

Yeah, thats nuts that they got both the money and the book.

I guess in the end, Ebay did kinda side with the buyer then.

Thats a diff situation than what im describing though.

Im talking about buyers doing damage to the book and then claiming it was not as described.

In that case, the seller cant prove the damage wasnt there upon delivery.

The seller can point to the original pics and say "look, no damage!" but theres no way to 100% prove the book in the pics is the book they shipped.

Ebay will side with the buyer every time in that situation.

    Thats with raw books.

If a buyer really wants to return a  graded book, theyll just crack the case and say it was damaged during shipping.

Im just saying...if a buyer really wants to get a refund, they will find a way.

Its just easier to accept returns BUT make the buyer pay the shipping.

I always choose the option of no returns, period. That was after playing the game with a few people years back that you just described. Unless there is shipping damage, which has only happened twice where the slab was damaged, once they buy it that's it. However, if there's any obvious issues with a slab I have the generic statement always included as well that it may have Newton Rings, scuff marks, or other other slight damage or material on the case due to the grading process, etc. If I know a slab has a long scuff mark which is pretty common lately with CGC, I'll take a picture of it and mention it specifically.

I might lose potential buyers for not offering returns, but it's one less headache and no negative reviews to worry about. Just my 2c

I accept returns but the buyer pays for shipping both ways. I only refund the price of the book.

I do this because Ebay will always side with the buyer that files a "NAD" claim and there are dirt bags out there that will simply damage the book themselves and them blame it on the seller.

Now, not only are you on the hook for all the shipping expenses but you also get a damaged book returned to you.

    Its not worth it.

I think some viewers try and view the show (zombies aside) as a realistic type show where everything (zombies aside) should make sense.

Its based on a comic book so thats how I watch it.

Z Nation took it to a whole other level but I still love that show too.

I forgive a lot of the problems TWD has and try and focus on the things that made it great.

Ive watched the series around 15 times now and I still enjoy it.

Some scenes still make my eyes tear up.

Nothing good happens to/for anyone on TWD.

    Its a beautiful tragedy.

Absolutely have them pressed!!! Might as well remove the bag and keep your card too...

I won an auction for a dozen Cable Sealed polybags last winter from a large prolific & "reputable" Ebay seller, listed as "NM/M New in Bag"... EVERY SINGLE ONE of them received an 8.5 or less... they are now just paperweights in my closet that can't be sold. Here is a small sampling of those with some of my others...

    image.png.dd04c9010e8e94790be24d0e087beef1.png

Not worth the expense of a re-sub to press in the hopes they become 9.4-9.6, which will still not be worth the effort to sell given there are a MILLION (quite possibly, literally) of these out there... especially after you have it slabbed .... It is just "Xforce #1", no more relation to the card it was originally bagged with ... I learned a very humbling $500 lesson with this experience.

Also note, when I submitted 10+ with Cable cards, I received back a mix of all assorted XForce cards, only maybe 2 Cables came back (and of course no deadpools) ...There is no guarantee you get back polybags or COAs/Cards, etc with your subs. They do try though!

They must get so many of these, they are hard to keep straight over the employees laughing all the way to the bank from us rookie mistake submitters.

Add each one to another slab that youre selling as a bonus book...just up the price $15 - $20.

At least youll get some of the money back.

There is no omnibus with these issues as of yet, but there is a hardcover option that would cover that gap.

Marvel Masterworks Volume 239 (Or Amazing Spider-Man Vol 18, depending on which cover you prefer) collects ASM 181-193, plus some other material. I think that's the only hardcover option at this point. The book is out of print, but you can still get copies for under $100. Presumably, whenever ASM Omni 6 is solicited, it will likely include the contents of that Masterworks, plus MMW ASM 19. But who knows when that will happen. There aren't any other omnis that have made it that far along, but if there is a title that would reach volume six, it would be ASM (or X-men).

Awesome, thanks...Ill go on Ebay and take a look.
