You might be in for a very long wait. All of these celeb events are pretty much all through a third party host like Twin Cities. And they are often times at the mercy of the celeb as to win they feel like doing the signing. I waited over a year for Cumberbatch

So I have a Mea Culpa I am the OP of this thread. Throughout this thread I accused Liefeld of being a hack, and of ripping off the community this his $200 chiseling amongst many other pejoratives. However I have to admit to getting not only a book autographed in this signing but actually getting chiseled myself. In my defense I realized that I still had my $150 CGC credit available to me and I didn’t have any books that I wanted to grade. So I did it. I had a minty New Mutants 100 newsstand that I bought as a young boy and I thought would be ideal for a signing. Still I paid $50 out of pocket plus shipping plus Liefeld label. I am a hypocrite. I am ashamed. Here it is. I kinda love it…

Only went two days so the flood may not be what we expected

More likely than not they are unaware of the value drop that occurs post signing. That or they underestimated how popular this signing would be. However I do think that their are a few books that will do well post signing. Some of the 1:500 and 1:1000 Deadpool incentives come to mind

Pretty happy with this. A Gorgeous fairly HTF cover Was a 9.6, gave it a press and here we are. On the downside her sig isn’t very eyepleasing at all and she or her people declined to go with the color of ink I requested however I pretty much knew that was going to happen

This isn’t a complaint, I’m just curious. I submitted numerous books at SDCC for Lee to sign. Two weeks later they appeared in my submissions log. Fast forward to last week I submitted a single book for standard modern grading and as of this moment it is in QC and I suspect will be shipped on Monday. Meanwhile the Lee books haven’t changed in status at all. im curious because they have been there longer and SS books are usually a priority. Fast Track wasn’t even an option on the Lee paperwork I filled out in San Diego so I assumed like other SS books they are already fast tracked. Like I said I’m not complaining, just kinda hoping to get one back in time to submit for a Another SS next month. Thank you

I can go through twin cities however I’d rather submitting through CGC. Will CGC be taking submissions for this?

Slabbing into a green label adds zero value imo. There are other companies that grade and donsig verification but honestly if it is your prized possession and you aren’t looking to sell just put it in a nice Mylar. I also have numerous Lee sigs from when I was 10-12 years old that I’d never sell

This really only applies to people selling Star Wars Books Buyer: JediKnightSaga (3) So this is a shill account for a scumbag who is selling Star Wars Books. Got me and another seller selling the same book this weekend. I’m pretty sure I know what seller this shill account belongs to but I won’t say as I have no proof at this time

CGC is very forgiving with uncentered staples and miswraps. 9.8s are very possible if everything else is in line with 9.8 standard. The other company is not forgiving on these defects
