  1. Two orders, CGC4697070292 and CGC7947609109 were shipped in the same box. CGC7947609109 Is a 25 book prescreen that was checked in last week and is currently in Grading/QC, however CGC4697070292 a single book submission that has yet to be input. Obviously I’m a little concerned about this. Is there anyway to check if this order has been received since it shared a USPS tracking number that we know has been delivered?
  2. I have to hand it to Rob Liefeld, to actually care enough about his legacy to create a bunch of burner accounts in the CGC forums is truly impressive. Pushing the arguement that despite not having a fraction of Jim Lee’s talent, that he is somehow more important to the industry because he “created” Deadpool is a great touch. Can we just all agree that the Deadpool Liefeld created was a sh*tty and blatant character swipe. And that the character was fully reimagined by more thoughtful creators in the years that followed? If we are giving Liefeld credit for the current iteration of the Deadpool character, then we also have to give Stan Lee Credit for creating Spider-Gwen.
  3. Bullseyed two of them and I’ll have an 8. I whiffed pretty hard on a couple
  4. Absolutely reasonable to disagree. Taste and art are very subjective. You prefer Liefeld’s work and I prefer Lee’s
  5. I couldn’t care less about the characters these artists created. I admire Jim Lee for his mind blowing art and the way, through his talent, is able to bring these stories so vividly to life. A talent Liefeld is woefully devoid of. And let’s be real, Liefeld Co-Created Deadpool as a direct character swipe of Deathstroke . A very different Deadpool than the one we know today, the one that is now a beloved character, he can take all the credit he wants but what he “created” exists only in appearance today. Aside from that his creative efforts at Image were the most blatant and sloppily done character swipes in the history of comics. Like this Gem, a character named troll that can best be described as Wolverine in sunglasses. Troll may or may not have Down’s Syndrome and several dozen tumors growing all over his body. Additionally Troll possesses hooves instead of feet and the worst camel toe ever documented in human history
  6. As you can see when I click on the submission it basically brings me to an error page. Any chance you can look this up and give me the grades? I’m gonna be gone on a very long two week work trip and I won’t be able to open.
  7. Yeah, thanks for explaining that, you are obviously very intelligent. The entire point of my message was simply to lament that simple economics would dictate that if he is able to sell out at these prices, that various artists would likely increase their fees as well. Thank you for setting me straight
  8. The pricing for his upcoming signing is insane. Chiseled Signature $210? GTFO. If people want to pay him that much to sign books good for him and good for them, my worry is that vastly more talented and more important artists will Jack up their prices after this. Liefeld is charging more for a sig than McFarlane, and his sketch is being offered for almost $200 more than Jim Lee, and Frankly I’d rather have a left handed Jim Lee sketch in crayon than anything Liefeld has ever created. I fear Lee’s sketch price is going to be a lot higher the next time he does a CGC event and I really want one 😢
  9. Lol at the price of his sig. and his sketch being more than a Jim Lee Sketch
  10. The few times I’ve gone to a con to get books signed I bring my own markers and ask them if they wouldn’t mind using them. For CGC I’ve had about a 75% success rate on requesting a specific color and getting it. Jim Lee was very good about doing this, which was a surprise given the thousands of books he had to go through. McFarlane seemingly ignored my requests but it’s understandable given the volume of books he had to go through
  11. I really like this. And I actually like the placement because it makes it possible for you, if you wanted to do it, to get a series of additional Remarques on this book. Very cool
  12. Specifically, I sent a book in for the Cumberbatch signing which was scheduled for “Late 2022” I’ve emailed them and haven’t received a reply and was wondering if anyone here knew of a way to simply get a yes or no concerning whether a signing event has actually taken place. I know it’s difficult to actually get some big name celebs in a room to sign all this stuff so it’s understandable that these things get delayed, I’d just like to know because I’m holding off on sending in my Hughes submission because the book Cumberbatch is supposed to sign is an AH book and I’d love to get him to sign it as well if it’s possible. Seems like that isn’t going to happen but I’d like to be sure Thank you if you can help
  13. I am aware that when CGC offers signing opportunities that it is done in conjunction with outside companies like Twin Cities that are actually facilitating the events. However would it be possible to have some sort of system that updates those of us that have taken part in these signings? Just a simple Yes this signing has taken place and the books are in the process of being graded or No this signing has yet to take place. For instance I have a book sent in for a signing event with twin cities that was scheduled to occur in “late 2022” and it would be nice to know if this has happened or if it hasn’t. I realize trying to get working actors in a room to sign hundreds of items is difficult to schedule and execute, I’d just like to be in the loop of when I can expect to receive the book back. Thanks
  14. Pretty much everything his critics say about him are true, but I’d love to see a Liefeld signing
  15. So it does work on phones if you reload in landscape but this makes it very difficult to read. Have not checked on PC yet
  16. Assuming Star Wars falls under Marvel then an assortment of various Star Wars labels is the clear answer. I’m certain however that you guys know this would be insanely popular so I’m assuming that the licensing of these characters would be cost prohibitive.
  17. Ok. I can see that position. But I hope this topic gets revisited by whomever established these rules. If the pen sig is completely covered it effectively ceases to exist. Therefore this rule is tantamount to refusing to raise the grade of an encapsulated book after a press because it has a record of having said crease even though the crease was removed.
  18. So basically I have a comic I had signed in my youth by Jim Lee in ball point pen before CGC existed. I have since had the book signed through CGC by Scott Williams so it currently has the green/Gold qualified label. my question is this, if I was to have Jim Lee sign over the ballpoint pen sig with a thicker marker so that the pen sig was no longer visible could I then rid my book of it’s qualified status? it’s something that has been bothering me forever and I’d love to have this is a clean Gold Label thanks
  19. I haven’t gotten mine and I haven’t see. Any out there. Just curious
  20. So I tried to do this and it said I didn’t have any orders eligible to have CC updated. And then last night I received an email from accounting telling me to do what you have told me to do and it still doesn’t work. Do I need to call your customer service on Monday?
