Thought this needed to updated to let everyone know that I finally received these books. A couple of points.. 1. according to the label these books were finished being signed and sketched in May. Very odd that it took an additional five months to get them graded, slabbed and sent back to me resulting in nearly a year and a half wait, which imo is not acceptable. 2. despite the time this took I was floored by how fantastic they came out. My Brother has a Bullterrier so I had this one done for him as a Christmas gift (intended to be a Christmas 2021 gift but fortunately arrived two days before Christmas 2022). This is just incredible..

Title says it all. CC had fraud, it is now cancelled, however two submissions on their way to CGC at this very moment have payment attached to this card. Will I be contacted once a payment attempt has failed?

Got My Stray Dogs sketches back today. Only took a year and a half LOL. And according to the label they were completed in May of this year. What a cluster fack. That said they are done incredibly well and exceeded all of my expectations. Here is one

I’m absolutely flabbergasted this guy attempted to scrape off the colortouch on this one. 5-6 grades on this book can’t be selling for more than $75. what’s the point? Then to make it worse he misses all the color touch spots. This guy probably got a press 6 months go, pressed a couple moderns watched a couple YouTube tutorials and now he thinks he’s an expert this community is high comedy sometimes

I love this in fact I’m really surprised she does work this good as I am not a huge fan of hers In general. I’ll have to remember this for the next time she’s available. May I ask what she charges for something like this?

I sent in two cards for the McFarlane Signing, I also sent in a Comic sub for the signing as well. At the moment the Comic order hasn’t been posted but the Card sub has been posted. But not on the CGC Cards site but rather in Comics

So I’ve had the misfortune of experiencing the eBay Sports Cards market, it’s just like the comic market but 10x on all the BS. I was dabbling a bit into some sports cards breaks out of shear boredom and I lit a few hundred dollars on fire before realizing how utterly ridiculous they were with respect to ROI and that what I was participating in was basically unregulated gambling. Not to get off topic, but I did pull a couple of cards worth in the neighborhood of $100-200 each. I had no interest in holding on to these cards so I listed them at auction. Most recently, I have literally listed one card three times only to get stiffed on payment each time (I have suspicions that the winning bidders are shill accounts for people who are selling the same card at BIN and looking to raise the market price but I can’t be sure). Previously I sold Mac Jones Card at auction several weeks ago. A few days after shipping out the card Jones gets injuried and I get a return request days later. It’s exhausting. I can’t wait to be rid of these cards and that entire community they suck

This site is incredible. One day when I retire and have absolutely nothing to do with my life I’ll use it to prove my theory about the disappearance of 9.9s and 10 grades

Mine were supposed to get there on Thursday. Arrived today. So in the same boat. I’d be absolutely shocked if they were rejected and sent back to me

It guarantees nothing, however I forgot to send off my Jim Lee submission before going on vacation. I returned home 10 days after cut off and shipped it off anyway. It was accepted.

14 months and counting. What makes this worse is that the artists in question are on the Con circuit doing Dog sketches for people while my books are probably in their closet collecting dust. I feel as though I have to take action before my bank tells me the time allotted for me to file a claim has past if it hasn’t already. I understand things happen and this is beyond CGC’s control but is CGC putting some degree of pressure on these artists to fulfil the work they have already been paid to do? and how long am I reasonably obligated to wait? at this point I’d prefer to be refunded

I recently received a book back from grading and although I didn’t request it, it just happened to be graded right when CGC rolled out their plans to notate newsies on the label. However when out of curiousity I went to see how many newsstands of this book were on the census I wasn’t able to find any count of newsstand books for this title. Is CGC going to keep a census of the Newsstands? It seems to me that it’s pointless to even notate this without keeping a census as anyone who cares about newsstands would be easily able to identify one

Maybe in the case of the Spider-Man Covers, but in the case of the Venom I believe he will sign. Since he co-created the character he signs pretty much any venom cover other than the few hidden gems we refuses to sign

Was interested in TM signing a couple of cards and considered making my own version off a window case for the catd, but I figured you guys might have a better suggestion

Went there a year ago during a trip to Denver. Place is a sh*t hole in sh*t neighborhood to be honest. Like everyone else has said the prices are so bad they are almost funny.

I had a similar situation happen to me last year. Ultimately I got my money but it took a lot of effort. However I ampretty certain eBay refunded this persons money out of their own pocket. In the end if you are devoid of all morals it’s seems as if it is pretty easy to scam free stuff off of eBay. I posted about this if you’d like to read…
