Hi guyz. Its ya boi geraldfordfan69 here and today Im going to tell you all how CGC NEEDS to be ran. I have zero experience dealing with trading cards, logistics, or anything, BUT, I do watch the best youtuber on the planet logan paul (PAUL NATIONNNN) so I know everything and CGC needs to listen to all this ASAP 1) Cut all prices Sorry but CGC has gotten TOO expensive. We all know cards are for making love and being your best bros, so they need to be super cheap. Bulk needs to cost like a $1 lol. Like why is it $8? Thats way too overpriced. It takes them like 2 seconds to look at my card and put it in some plastic. That plastic probably costs like a penny, so the prices are kind of wack. Walkthrough is just WAYYY too much money, like ok yall can have like $5 for that, but $70? Come on, this is highway robbery! Yall can do way better than that. 2) Turn around times need to be quicker Sorry but a month is just WAY too long. It neeeds to be like 30 seconds at best. Just look at the card, tell me if its good or not, put it in plastic, and mail it back. That takes like 5 seconds and then you can put a stamp on it and mail that bad boy back. You dont need a bunch of time to mail cards back. Me and my bois we graded cards all the time and it works fine. Someone gives me a buck, i tell them its a 10, I get a sharpie and write a 10 on the toploader and boom easy money. CGC is making this stuff TOO complicated. We dont need no fancy subgrades or multipliers or this math stuff. Just tell me if its a 10 or not. Its like how my boys look at girls. We dont say if shes a 7 or whatever, we just say 10 or 0. Makes life easier. 3) Members of this board need to be on your staff I see some very brilliant minds on here. Not going to name names, but ya got the homebois that are constantly on here giving yall brillant advice. These need to be your next CEOs ASAP. The ones who complain the most, instant management material. Some of these dudes you could pay like 8 bucks an hour and they will work for life at CGC. Just the best minds of the industry with very indepth analysis. Very HUGE opportunity with these shining stars 4) Start grading Naruto cards I keep hearing this talk about grading Marvel or Yugioh cards or whatever garbage other game, but we all know the money is in my boi NARUTO. Sasuke would be up in this biznatch messing things up asap and doing all these ninja backflips like its 1961 if we were to grade Naruto. I just dont get how CGC is missing out on a ton of money by not grading this legendary trading card game. Maybe they can also add Final Fantasy, another amazing game, but for now, this is where there is BIG MONEY 5) Make me the #1 CEO Last but not last, I need to be running the company. Sorry but yall just need the GOAT of all GOAT's to be in charge of this machine. Im spitting all this knowledge for free and im not even being paid. I wouldnt even need to be paid as long as you give me naruto MY BOI SASUKE cards along with letting meet the GOAT himself LOGAN PAUL! No but really, just put me in charge and CGC will be the #1 company on the planet. We will beat out Apple, Facebook, Pokemon, the CDC, Nintendo, Applebees, all those weakinglings would be destroyed if I can CGC. They dont protect against UV rays but I heard they are good against 5G radiation and global warming. There is a study going on if they are good against corona but nothing has been confirmed.

Id just like some logical explanation on why people feel the need to spend money to put an old card in a plastic container if not for resale value. Why is a binder not good enough? And slabs tend to take up more space than binders and are harder to scroll through. Do people on here just have so much money that they need to find ways to waste it? Since I know some hungry kids overseas who could use some of it lol.

They arent lying. They just got way more business than expected. My own shop is dealing with similar issues. We had product from distribution get delayed twice. Customers got pissed too. But its beyond my control, similar to how its beyond CGC's control. Unless they decide to reject shipments, there is no way for them to prevent someone from sending in 10k cards and jamming up the system. Paul already told everyone that they hired 70+ people and got more storage space. They cant do much more than that with the resources they got. Regardless, I think you need to lower your expectations based on what is going on with the market in general. There was no way that you were getting a 45 day turn around time on economy. At least in 2021. Maybe later this year when the pandemic calms down and the hobby dies down a bit, yeah it might be realistic. But right now, yeah thats just not a realistic expectation based on current market conditions.

You should check out your their pokemon forum there. Everyone agrees with each other no matter what they say. Sounds like a great place you can go and find something to be outraged about.

Its a bad use of money. You buy a common for a dollar, you pay $8-$9 to grade it. You pay an ebay fee of 15%. You have to spend time mailing it. Mailing supplies cost money. You might get an irrate buyer. All that for what, maybe 5 bucks total at best? I finally figured out the ignore list thankfully. Anyone whos off their rocker is on it lol. Speedy, Shining, the guy who hates disabled people, the guy who made this topic, etc. They all been brainwashed by social media or whoever that you need to waste money grading and you cant be happy just having cards in a regular old binder. They need some plastic container to justify their existence. Im sure they are all ready at their keyboards ready to flame me saying "oh your ruining the hobby, dont tell me what to do, blah blah blah", but now i wont see them saying that. Seriously, grade stuff worth money. If not worth money, keep it in your binder. Or waste tons of money for no reason. I dont care, its not my life or my money, but if it was my collection of cards, yeah I wouldnt bother sending them in unless they are valuable.

There isnt anywhere that is doing bulk pricing for the turnaround time that your asking. CGC is a bargain right now. I dont think their walkthroughs will last since its a steal that you can get something in the 5 figures only graded for 75 bucks. They seem to be criminally undervalued if anything. My bulk from 12/7 got scheduled for grading today. Im not doing bulk in the future since the market is flooded with new stuff going in. I get your annoyed that they changed that TAT's, but paying the 7-8 bucks per card to be graded, yeah you got an amazing deal. I think you dont realize the value of what you got. And its not going to take 200 days. Things are moving along in my account and many others. Everyone and their mother is grading, so the market conditions are what they are all over. Its not really an CGC exclusive issue.

I check my grading status once a day so ill probably check the forums. No way in hell im posting in another thread after this dumpster fire.

Calling someone stupid for acting stupid is acceptable. I dont think you have to be 100% tolerant of everything. Not sure if you ever read the paradox of tolerance, but yeah, not every idea should be tolerated. If some guy makes a thread tomorrow saying "CGC is bad because their cases are bad and if you like CGC, then your bad ", I feel every right to call that person stupid. But some people on here are just completely morally bankrupt and should be banned.
