  1. The 3% buyer's premium on CL is if you use a cc to pay for the item. If you send them a check, there is no added buyer premium %, just whatever the hammer price went for is all you pay.
  2. I think the highest grade a book can receive with a completely detached and split cover with no other structural damage is a 2.5. Why? Because I have a book graded at this grade. Oh and I don't think pressing would help at all in this case since the covers are split from top to bottom. I doubt no other improvements were made besides the tape.
  3. How was the comic display this year? Any new GA collections or mega keys? Would love to see pix or read any stories.
  4. Great copies guys! This is a book I'd like to have back in my collection.
  5. Yeah sorry about the damages the storm took from your stores Richard. I hope you can be able to recover from it all soon. Best wishes to you and everyone else! Stand-up/class act by Vinny and Stephen for helping you out right way during these tough times . I'm pretty sure your Marvel 1 will do very well. I mean just look at it, the book looks much better than a 6.0. Perfect registration, amazing colors, a pedigree, so much going for it. Looks like an 8.0 at least!
  6. Oh wow! Curious to know if it is a restored copy since it has the letter "R" in front of the comments.
  7. There is a CGC 4.5 copy that just got listed on ebay auction style with a starting price of.... Wait for it............................... $25k!?!
  8. The Asm 1's in both CL and CC sold very well. Looks like the arrow is pointing up.
  9. Haha I didn't even place a single bid on the book. I did placed bids in the Tec 37 but was out even before the extended bidding. I guess those 2 other Tec 31 copies that sold for "cheap" sold at a great time to buy. I truly didn't believe that those prices/outliers would hold at all. Only exception is the previously graded cgc 2.0 brittle now a voldy 3.0. I didnt believe that the value of that copy would change, but stay at around the same price it sold for.
  10. What a price on tonight's CC copy. Glad I still have a copy
  11. The final hammer prices for the Tec 36 CGC 6.0 and Tec 37 CGC 3.5 surprised me. Very strong numbers. Looks like it is playing catch up to Tec 29, 31, 33, 35 since they were well behind years past. Nevertheless, still a long ways to go.
  12. The uber high grade Tec 35 on CC seems to be from IGB as well
  13. Sad news indeed.. may he RIP. One of the GREATS in the comic book industry. He will be missed!!! I'm glad I met him several years ago at a local convention in LA. He was even signing for free for his fans. Glad I managed to have him sign my Wolverine book.
  14. And I do remember you saying that . I agree with the above as well.
