  1. I have a feeling this is not going to end well..
  2. I've been broke even before the auction started
  3. Saw that book on eBay. I was asking the seller to send me more pictures of the book, but never got a response back. Book sold same day I asked the questions. GL to the buyer!
  4. Seems to me that CGC has been a bit stricter on PQ lately. I submitted a couple books to them for grading and thought the PQ was better than what is placed on the label.
  5. As long as the seller is able to meet you in person
  6. RIP the Bright Knight! I'm so shocked right now. I wish I met him and got his autograph and pic.. Urgh!?
  7. Great colors and nice eye appeal on that 4.0. I call the black dot copies where you can see the Oct. month a hybrid of the 1st and 2nd printing.. Since we are talking about trading kidneys or what not, I am thinking if I should trade my boner for it
  8. Go big or go home is the theme for this auction
  9. Your welcome man! It's a general rule of thumb kind of website that records a lot of sales from different auction houses and some private sales too I believe.. But it does not tell you the whole story because some are not recorded. I find it especially useful for silver age for the most part to present. Golden age, well there's not a lot out there on certain books so it can serve as a ballpark guide give or take
  10. You can also look up values online - https://www.gpanalysis.com for around $10/month. A great tool that a number of us uses. It's ok to ask values of books every once in a while, but not all the time. Also, values cannot be determined on a per grade basis. There are so many factors that affect value - marvel chipping, page quality, stains, writing, pieces missing, etc. So many variables that there is no one price per grade for each book.
  11. Boner issue or no boner issue, you need a bats 66!
  12. The Stan Lee autos killed it for me
  13. Not being a chicken about it, just not a fan of the book I did own a 35 though because I preferred the cover better.
  14. Well, that is a very interesting fun fact of the day! I didn't know that. Thanks for sharing!
  15. Waiting for pre-robin tecs to go down in price...
  16. I personally love the cover, the book, and the history of Cap 1. Such a classic WWII/Hitler/Cap cover
  17. I think this is the only Marvel SA major key I've never owned
  18. It has to stabilize at some point. No way this book keeps setting record prices after every sale.
