  1. I agree with this also. This is from a guy who has a Hulk 1 and now SC 4.
  2. Now, I don't collect Centaur books (good for everyone else who does haha) but wow that book is just something else! I would love to have that book in my collection as well!
  3. Please no talking about PQ in this thread. There's already one made. Bring it over there instead .. I don't want this thread to be ruined
  4. I have two copies currently in my collection
  5. Supes 1 for me. It's the bigger key and not a fan of Tec 38
  6. Between the HA 9.4 copy and the CC 9.0, if I had the funds I'd rather go for the 9.0 copy. But the back cover of that book is in question. Would need a better scan of it.
  7. 12k without a resto/trim check . To seller who isn't familiar with comics. Definitely a gamble. I called and talked to the guy and asked if I won the auction could I inspect the book in hand before paying. I also could pay in cash if he preferred. I don't think the book is restored but I had a concern with the condition of the book being closer to a 4.0 or worse and possible coupon missing pages. He said I could pick it up in person but I had to pay for the book first through Ebay. If I had any problems I would have to file a paypal dispute as its being sold as is no returns. I said I'll pass and won't be bidding. The seller was about five hours from me and I was willing to make the trip to complete the deal. I could understand the seller wanting to be paid before he turned over the book, as he doesn't really know you and he could be robbed. But he should have agreed to return your money if, on inspection of the book you decided you didn't want it. +1 or I would have asked if he could meet at his bank to do the inspection and paid in cash. I've done this before and it worked out really well.
  8. Wow, that's a strong price. Indeed! I was counter-offered less when I threw in my offer weeks back. Would be interesting to see if this trend continues for mid to low graded copies. I hope not yet until I get a copy
  9. Book looks 3.5 whether pressed or not
  10. to selling that much copies already! Do it
  11. How many did you ever have on hand at one time? most I had at one time was 43 copies Thats intense. down to 10-12 now. Will not be forcing sales this upcoming year so will be back to normal Your next challenge is to sell 100 copies of WW32
  12. Holy smokes.. An 8.0!!! Yes will indeed be fun to watch. Should hit at least $250k
  13. Detective Comics or just Batman? They frequently have new vintage books every now and then. Owner's name is Jud. Nice guy to talk to. He told me he once sold multiple GA keys maybe last year with the highlight being a Pep 22 unrestored mid grade.
  14. Welcome back BZ Glad you are feeling better in time for the holiday season.
  15. Impulse buyer? Or maybe the motto "buy the book not the label?"
  16. Weird. I had star 6 in my reg box , just realized it is a second star 8. So, add star 6 to my want/need list Sounds like you need to start wearing glasses
  17. Nippin' at the heels of AF 15 Someone just wants it NOW!
  18. It is a 1/1 rarity that's for sure I think? It's kinda like that ratty WD #1 CGC 0.5 issue that sold for big bucks back then.
