  1. Go get it graded! I'm assuming there is no restoration? Good luck!
  2. There's really no need to explain why you buy or collect certain things. It's within personal needs and wants that some wouldn't understand.
  3. Congrats guys on your Tec 36!!! I need one as well
  4. That is crazy!! Yep was interested in that book. I asked the seller if there was any resto at all but he never answered me back. So i passed. That is a big red flag good move on passing. That book is not worth 10 000$. Congrats on your 5.5!! Thanks
  5. We'll see how it all pans out. Hoping the buyers will leave some feedback whether good or bad.

  7. Im of the mindset to own both. This. /thread. Not saying that a TMNT 1 is a bad book to own. When it comes down to my own personal preference, I'd take the AF 15. TMNT 1 doesn't do anything to me really. Never had any desire to own it.
  8. Gimme an AF 15 over a TMNT 1 any time of the day!
  9. .another example of a book that presents exceedingly well in the slab, irrespective of the "PQ" on the label. -J. +1 It does look nice in the slab. It really does. Would likely have graded higher if PQ was not brittle I think.
  10. +1 thought it would end at around $5500 tops
  11. With 460 pages long, it would be cool if threads like this can have its own page dedicated to just book images with links on where to find the pictures. Would be less of a headache I think.
  12. There was a previous post from knightsofold about the interior, I guess then he wasn't really looking. Dunno about now, but just wanted to give him the heads up. I think the seller is also a boardie maybe?
  13. Here are mine. The CGC 2.5 Tec 168 is sold. Glad I was able to take a pic of both. Love both of these black covers.
  14. Do you guys think the Fear the Walking Dead show has anything to do with the recent sale prices of WD books also? I probably don't think so, but you never know. I also agree with NWO about how the show has been somewhat boring and almost the same thing happening over again in practically every season, just new twists here and there. But I must say the mid season finale was epic!
  15. Awesome purchase and even better for holding on to it for this long. Congrats!
  16. You're not confused. Looks like it may have been pressed after the resub. Top staple looks different from both scans.
  17. I remember that Curator copy that sold on Pedigree for around $60k years back. Well, I can top that. I remember when the Curator was 35k and I passed on it...excuse me, I did not have 35k then. Damn! You trumped me Maybe I'm confused but I remember the Curator in an old label slab. Anyone else? When I saw it at Pedigree it was in this label. Probably a resub somewhere along the lines.

  20. The only reason why I didn't buy this book before is because I wasn't digging the cover. Oh well.
  21. oh, I don't know...I offered a cgc 3.5 all star 8 in 2014 for $6500 and one just recently sold for almost 50K...seems like 500% is common these days Times have changed fast for this book
  22. The longer you wait , the more it'll be. If you can afford , don't wait This.. I keep telling everyone who wants to own an AF 15 like you do to not wait and just go for it and buy the book or else it will probably cost you more later on. Sure enough this holds true.
