  1. This thread needs another bump. I welcome my other copy
  2. Thanks! Looks like we have a long wait for season 2 I'm kinda excited about the Iron Fist series. If Ryan Philipe is Iron Fist, I really hope he can pull it off well
  3. On Episode #8 right now. Just taking my sweet time on this. Will continue maybe next week. Any idea when Season 2 comes out?
  4. 4.5? 5.0? 4.5. Looks 5.0 to me though I'd say 5.0 too. It's graded by..another company, no? (thumbs u That's why I can't post the full pic
  5. Nope, no more. Comparing my lower graded copy to my former 8.5, even my lower graded copy has just a hint of yellowing and not as pure white and grey as the 8.5 one. dang that stinks, I rem what you had to give up to give up to get that book. Hope whatever you sold it for was worth it from a personal collecting standpoint - you've had some incredible books in your collection. Thanks Teddie! I certainly did make up for it (thumbs u

  7. And of course, the best copy I've owned.. Just perfect in every way including centering. I don't think I've seen a brighter AF 15 in person. Oh and white pages to boot which is quite rare
  8. Now those colors pop!! Very attractive! Centering is kinda kiltered to lower left a bit...But man...no Marvel chipping. I'm jealous. Wanna trade Let me get a few drinks in me and we'll see
  9. Yes, it is pre-marvel chipping. Very common for this book and does not affect the grade at all. I think you have a shot at a 4.0 here. Just that CGC is very strict on staining so I wouldn't be surprised if it graded out as a 3.5.
  10. Yeah, had a debate a few pages on if it would be over or under $65k Book looks great, but the colors are ok. Has that yellowish tint to it which I am not a fan of. If I were to buy a high graded copy, the colors better be bold and vibrant The transfer stains on the front cover of an AF15 are not pretty. And it's super difficult to find one with unscuffed clean grays and whites. I think it's not that difficult to find one with clean grays and whites. I have seen a handful at around this grade that sold in the past. The copy that seadevils has is pretty much the color strike that I would buy. Just being nit picky.

  12. Would be easy for me to remember Joker's bday My favorite villain of all time.
  13. The book that got me into comics was Shadow of the Bat #1 Ok, I was born in the 1980's and I dunno what it was about vintage comics that drew me in that time, but I'm glad where I am right now with regards to my collection.
  14. Congrats to all members! This book was the book that got me into comics.
  15. I likey!! Congrats! Looks better than my 4.5 copy.
  16. My modern FT is taking as long as a modern ST!?! I wonder if I can get a credit for this between the difference in cost..
  17. Must be. It is a great TV show afterall, so it does help.
  18. There's a nice Tec 35 at the Exchange in C-Link. It's a big boner book that's for sure
  19. Great thread Rick and very informative . What a first hand look on being a dealer. That is some serious manual labor there. I think I have a lot more respect for dealers now after seeing what you and others have to go through. I'm always willing to help out in some way, just ask (thumbs u
  20. So I clicked on it and apparently I'm the video still I am too Walking down memory lane huh
