  1. I have 2 modern fast track books that I submitted back towards end of Jan., still sitting on graded for about 2 weeks now. Then I would suggest you call. I checked 3 accounts after you posted the 6-7 weeks and all show modern FT as shipped as recent as March 13th. The regular modern are showing graded from early to mid Feb. Yep, I did this morning. That is why I posted that they were gonna take 6-7 weeks now for FT submissions.

  3. Just talked to CGC this morning. The guy I talked to said that modern fast tracks and I think all other fast tracks are being held at around 6-7 week turnarounds at this point due to the high volume of submissions.. Just a FYI to everyone.
  4. mf73....just "stoopid" money for that copy....but supply/demand That is amazing. Seems like there's a lot of expectation for the future popularity of those characters baked in there. Yea, banking on movie success. Never a guarantee
  5. It's a 0.5, but the numbers are reversed. https://comics.www.collectors-society.com/WCM/ComicView.aspx?PeopleSetComicID=342997 Super nice copy ! Holy mama mia! That book has been exchanged around these boards before. I'm glad it is within our inner circle. that's for sure. Alex's 5.0 old label was one of the choices CW (boardie who started the original Detective thread) had at SDCC 2004. I think there was three 5.0s in the room that year and he bought the one at Metro's booth. I think there was a picture of him with the book in his hands when he bought it from Metro at SDCC years back. Such a great pic. yah there was. It's buried somewhere in that thread . What a bargain back then. Seems to be a repeating phrase. (thumbs u Sooner or later in 5 or so years, the 0.5 and 4.5 copies at CC will be seen as bargain prices. There I said it

  8. Thanks Bat-Man! Can't make out the grade for your copy, but yours looks pretty
  9. Very nice Ankur! Has great eye appeal for a lower graded copy
  10. Thanks guys for the praises. I miss having this book in my collection and glad that I was able to pick one up at a price that was within budget for me. Yes, the strong eye appeal of this book is what drew me in. 1 down, 5 more to go.
  11. Thanks Ben. Told ya it would get at least a 1.5
  12. So happy to own a Tec 31 again Looking to build up another pre-robin tec run
  13. I'm really impressed with this book. Even with the high number of supply meeting demand, this book continually sores in price every year. I really don't see an end to this in the coming years unless the whole comic book market crashes. This is the book that started my collecting buzz and helped me become the comic book collector I am today.
  14. Holy moly.. C-Link sold a DD #1 CGC 7.5 for $4800
  15. This book is finally getting the respect it deserves
  16. If you bring it to CGC and walk it through, they'll have it graded for you the same day. I was just looking at the fee for walk-thru service. 3%fmv? Even on something super low grade like this? So, if we say it's worth $15,000 they're going to charge me $450? yup. I think Dark Knight paid $550 to get his 1.0 supe 1 graded. They charged me nearly $200 when my Tec 29 got sent in on a walkthrough. I think someone on these boards paid $1500 to get an Action 1 sent on a walkthrough. Yep. Well worth it
  17. Thanks again fellas! I'm surprised that no one has posted a copy in 2 or so weeks except for me. I know there are a bunch out there and I'm pretty sure there are members who haven't posted their copies yet.
  18. I thought CGC changed the policy regarding taped up books that they would grade the book as if it were detached or covers split? With that being said, the book should have graded a 1.0/1.5.
  19. Those estimated values seem about right for the book. I really think the TV show helped a lot to bring the value to where it is now. Before the TV show announcement, prices seemed steady. When they announced that a show was being written and broadcasted, that's when the madness started.
