  1. I am starting to miss my CGC 8.5 copy more and more since I sold it last yea.
  2. Well, I think that around half the price of an unrestored copy in the same grade would be a safe bet on fmv even if the color touch is minor. It's a gorgeous book btw! The restored value of SA comics is much lower than restored GA books.
  3. WOw very nice JIM 83 Joey For a minute there, I thought it was my copy
  4. SUper nice Hulk 1 Rick!! Thanks for sharing!
  5. Could you post the 7.0 white pages? Luv to have a gander myself Should arrive tomorrow so I'll be happy to scan (thumbs u Thanks Gator
  6. Could you post the 7.0 white pages?
  7. Right! Not liking the staining on the back cover. That was the main reason why I passed on that offer last Sept. Besides, at the time, I needed that extra money I saved in order to buy some other books. (thumbs u Worst 6.5...out there. Maybe the buyer was hoping for a 7.0. +1- apologies if the newest owner is a boardie but that book is fugly Well, i wouldn't quite call the book fugly. The front cover was indeed very clean with bold colors. The only thing ugly about it are the stains at the back cover, which to me is a good thing. If it were in the front cover than I would call it fugly if it would still grade out as a 6.0/6.5.
  8. Yep, you are right on the dot Victor. I had this book as a 6.0 and sold it a few months back. Sold for a nice price I think. Not sure if the person I sold it to pressed it, resubmitted it, or even resold it to someone else.
  9. I passed as well but probably shouldn't have in hindsight +1.. I believe he had it graded out as a 2.0/2.5 but thought it was around 1.5 which it is right now
  10. I had a chance to buy that copy on ebay before it was slabbed, but passed because I pursued something else and my offer wasn't accepted. I believe the seller was Eides. Nice looking low grade copy IMHO. Should be interesting to see how much the book would sell for.
  11. at the very least I will make up an answer that sounds reasonable Sounds good to me
  12. Dear Gator, Is there anything that you do not know? -DK

  14. That was a bargain price for a 9.4! I would think the book is worth at least $125k with such nice pages and nice colors
  15. Not to derail the #1 DC thread, but Rich, you have a Tech 31 Paid a kidney for it. Here's the baby with decent PQ. I'm so jealous of your sig. line. I know I know. He makes us all look like beginners! +1 I'm back to a beginner

  19. Wish I still had that copy... Sold it at sdcc 2009.... Would I retail it at that price? No, probably not but the book did sell not too long ago around that price point so the seller has an established history at that value I wish we made a deal on that book back in 09
