  1. I think he should change his name to Bat- Hoarder Det187kid/hoarder/greedy SOB
  2. No wonder this book is soo rare Bat Hound has about every copy that is left in existance!
  3. That and the fact that NA 26 is one of the most highly sought after covers by Flessel. one of MY biggest regrets was selling the NA26 8.0SP copy (2 twice ) so i HAD to win this! Aha! So you're the one who won the book.. I was actually the underbidder and lost Congrats on a nice pick-up! Glad it went to a boardie
  4. Sure proud of mine...waited a lifetime for this puppy. Congrats Pee-Wee!!! That's a fabulous book you picked up!
  5. Freaking sweet!! And you said it, tough is all I've ever heard of this book. Sweet pick up man! I wondered what happened...I had my snipe all set, and poof, listing ended... I am sure the seller will regret that, but my guess is brian did great on it and the book is rare in better than fine condition, but nothing "tough" about it in vg or lower...heck, I have had like 10 copies in the last few years, and we all know a certain boardie that has more than that Dang you sold all 10 of your copies? Did Bat-Hound scoop it all up?
  6. Just came in today Probably the toughest Tec book to find and the third copy I'[ve ever owned (sold my last two). This one is definitely much nicer than my previous two and with offwhite-white pages
  7. Certainly looks like the A-1 copy that was sold on ebay.. That bottom crease looks familiar
  8. The Pedigree Comics CGC 9.4 X-Men #1 (White Pages) ended at $127,000 reserve not met Very surprised by that! Would have been a record price if reserve was met.. Explain?
  9. Thanks! I remembered you did, and Rick too I believe? It's a nice example, one I've stared at on the HA reference page for years. Picked it up from a boardie, As for what's next I dunno, will probably be awhile, would like to get a 29, but that will need to wait until next year. Still need 28,29,34 for my run, but am currently spent dry. Yep, I bought the Tec 35 off of ebay around 2004-2005. Rick bought the book from me as I upgraded to my now current 4.0. Then Rick sold it to someone and that someone sold it to you I guess
  10. Dang Alex you've been on a roll lately! Congrats on a nice pick-up! I used to own that Tec 35 book years ago Glad it is within the circle of boardies. So what's next on your list?
  11. Yeah, a reserve price or a fmv starting price would've been best. How much did he buy the book for? At least he made a profit!
  12. ALEEEEXXXXXXXXX!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats bro on a sweet pick-up! Always nice to see a Tec 31 in this thread I am still on cloud 9 with mine..
  13. Send me your Tec 31 and I'll retake the shot for you. I gotta think about that one
  14. I used to have a picture of my Bat 227 side by side with my Tec 31.. I dunno where it is It was a sweet shot!
  15. (thumbs u I'd trade every book I own for the right Tec 31. That Tec 31 4.5 is the right copy... I'd love a 4.5 copy of that book...I'll be happy with one of the 4 4.0 copies that are out there somewhere... You mean like this?
  16. I'm the highest bidder! Hope I win it below his asking price of $30k
  17. That 36 is a very nice example!! What is the resto? I meant to add that Very minor and I knew that when I was looking at it raw. Spine splits sealed, Cover cleaned cover reinforced. Thats all. Not sure when the restor was done, but it was recent and I would have left it alone. James G Still one of the very best examples I've seen in a long time. And at least the resto on the book is some of "the most market friendly" resto you can get! Congrats on the grade and a nice pick up! Just curious, but did you buy the 36 on ebay pretty recently? That copy looks familiar as I thought about hitting the buy it now
  18. I definitely didnt think it would jump nearly that high. btw, What the hell happened to the 9.4? I dont see it on the auction list anymore? THe 9.4 sold for $100k I believe reserve not met. I've seen that bad miswrapped 8.5 before. I think it was previously auctioned before and sold under $10k if I am not mistaken. Anyhow, seems like X-Men #1 is on the rise!
  19. New record price sold for a CGC 4.5 copy X-Men #1 CGC 4.5
  20. Amazing! It's not even a wrap, just a single non-superman page. Brittle at that Personally , something like this is not for me. The buyer in the end might regret spending that kind of money for a page like this. +1.. Maybe, just maybe a Superman page would be worth it for me, but I'd have to think hard about it
  21. Offwhite-white pages Where did u pick that up? Congrats!
