  1. Doubt it... The 24 9.0 LT sold for a low price also, then resold a week later for more than double. The GPA data did nothing for it's value,so doubt this "off mark" sale will have any affect on a 22's value. I know.. I was just kidding
  2. On the bright side, this sale will be noted on GPA and may lower the price of a 6.0 for those looking for a copy
  3. How about this one? Second nicest after only the Church copy..... Awesome book Daryl!
  4. Be safe and have a wonderful trip!! Be sure to take a lot of pix and post em in the boards
  5. Congrats on the nice pick-up! I actually inquired about that same copy, but couldn't swing it ..
  6. Wow a nice high grade Tec 1!!!!!! It's not often you can see such a pristine copy of this issue
  7. 30 year, zero down, fixed rate, and lifetime Disneyland passes should do it (thumbs u I say make the loan now before interest rate goes up. Well, at least Dark Knight does not have to pay property taxes...but insurance though. can't wait to see the pic of Pre Robins with the 4.0 Tec 27 in it DK He earned it. yes and one of the youngest Pre Robin go getters in our hobby (thumbs u I'm wondering who the youngest person is/was who completed the set I guess that depends on what young is. I have 28-30 and plan to get a 27 at least this year and I am 33, is that young enough? James G Hope you land that 27 and good luck!!! Yep, you're still a young gun as well! I'm 27 DK - would be cool for you to land a Tec 27 while your 27. I was just thinking that too, althought I turn 28 on April I still have about 3 months to land one

  10. Great book , I rate 29 much higher than the 31 That's a VERY tough call IMO. 31 one for me I think if Batman had his gloves on #29, it would probably be a toss-up. He looks kinda awkward swinging with just his bare hands

  13. I was asked this question before too and have thought about it for a while.. Looking how it is now, I'd probably take the 4.0 Tec #27, but back then I chose to keep my set as it took me years to put together. If I had sold my set, I probably would have a shot at a low graded unrestored Tec 27. But seeing at how Tec #27 has sky rocketed in price, I don't think I could get a low graded complete unrestored copy.
  14. So George, are you gonna hook a brotha up with your Tec 27 4.0 to complete my set
  15. That's one heck of a book Ben! I'm glad you are enjoying it in your collection! (thumbs u
  16. Yeah, that price seems too high!!! A 7.0 with slight resto sold for around $100k not too long ago
  17. That 4.5 copy of TEC 29 just looks out of place among all those 4.0s. I suggest you let me take it off your hands so you can replace it with a 4.0. It's the right thing to do. Seriously, you have assembled quite an awesome run of TECs. Well, according to the census, there have been no 4.0's graded so a 4.5 will do for now
  18. Nothing better than a fresh Pre-Robin Tec Run (I'm particularly fond of the 33). (thumbs u But at this point all I can do is sit back and be envious because officially as of yesterday afternoon, I am no longer a member of the Pre-Robin Tec Club. But provided it's okay with all of you guys, I'll still hang out here without my membership card because... this might very well might be the coolest club on the boards. Sorry to hear you are not part of the club anymore But I am sure in the near future you will be back in the club. Was it the Tec 33 that you sold recently? Lets just say that I needed to part with my Tec #33 to land something... Keep going keep going... I'd love to, but would prefer to wait until the book is in-hand and the transaction is complete. Great response (thumbs u Can't wait to see it!

  25. my 29 is sitting right here bud. the auction got pulled before i saw it...did he steal my 3.5 pics? What is his ebay handle? I guess my report went through! I actually didn't remember his ebay ID name. I think he had about 78 feedbacks and when I looked at his feedback history, he had sold some very cheap stuff like sketchers shoes and the like
