  1. Double covers are rare especially for GA and SA books. I once had a double cover of Detective Comics #48 that graded out as a CGC 8.0.. That was a beauty! Miss it everyday
  2. Celebrate all you want!!!! Id celebrate with you too!
  3. Great restoration project for sure! Good luck!
  4. Shocking indeed! I asked Sparkle City if the book was pressed, and they said yes. So a likely upgrade to a 9.4 may seem unlikely if that was the buyer's plan
  5. That copy has been bumped. Originally it was a 6.5.... It actually looks really nice. The back cover might be keeping it low, but the front cover looks like a 7.5/ 8.0 to me Certainly a beautiful book, what do you think will it go for? $5,000 thinking 8K-9K The highest price paid for a 7.0 was in ow for $9000...with 6.5 selling between $6100-7100. Definitely going above $7K. Agreed! (thumbs u
  6. Maann Bunky, you're on a roll!!! Congrats!
  7. Your welcome Victor! If you ever need to upgrade to a higher grade, let me know I can maybe take the 4.0 back as credit towards the 6.0
  8. So...who won the ebay auction tonight? The WW #52 9.4 went for $1,924. I threw a low-ball bid in at $1,500 but was handily trounced . I hope this fills a hole for someone's WW run... Only I know I was hoping it would sell for around $2200, but oh well.
  9. I believe that Cap #1 on ebay is owned by a board member. I had the chance to buy that book, but declined. Should be fun to watch!
  10. I can certainly agree with Mitch's statement that Cap #1 will be the top Marvel book if it isn't so already.
  11. Speaking of posting, here is my entry into this club.Thanx again Rick! I saw that book in Rick's booth. It was truly a beauty! Congrats Oakman and welcome to the club! (thumbs u
  12. It should really be about the comic book without any influences to movies, cartoons, merchandise, etc.
  13. Lemme try to spark things up.. Here is my copy
  14. That book is a terrific resto. candidate!
  15. Slabbed? Raw. No one will want to slab this one Can the pages be flipped?
  16. Beautiful Tec 33 Andre! You sure you wanna get rid of it?
  17. Never heard of a Tec 31 looking soo bad before.. U sure?
  18. I have all prerobin books as you know except for #27.. Can you imagine how I feel without it!?!?! Been this way for the past 2 years
  19. I want that 4.0 Everytime I see it, I just want it more and more Of course I can't afford the darn thing
  20. Gorgeous book, congrats. Being that your copy is now the single highest graded copy I would estimate the value of this book somewhere in the 2,000 - 2,500 range. Statistically, it should probably be worth more but there are just not enough WW collectors with deep pockets. In auction, I think the bidding would stop in this range. Good luck ! Thanks Bomber-Man for the estimate. Seeing that there has only been 12 graded by CGC up to this date, it's pretty rare and hard to judge exact pricing. I have a feeling at auction it would go for more but who knows. Would you know how much the 9.2 sold for?
