Have you ever seen an AF15 in 5.0 like that with white pages? I was very very close to pulling the trigger, but wanted to get a back cover scan first.. It never came so oh well and the kicker is it was a "chip free" Hulk 1 white pager--very impressive (thumbs u I don't blame you, you just don't want to plow head first unless you know the full content. It just looks too good for a 5.0...but no chips is a GREAT plus. Yep, I need to see cover scans to pull a trigger on an expensive book. If the fc looks like a 7.0, there has to be something about the bc that pulled the grade down

you have a beauty 4.0 Brian...appeal is much better than my 5.0.

Ahh the Detroit Trolley copy.. I'm wondering why the consigner has this book up on auction already. This was bought not too long ago at CC yah, 2.5 that could have been had for $5500 in 2005 on eBay... Well, that was a bargain Wish I knew about it then

I think a 5.0 blue (depending on how it looks) is estimated to be in the $30k range

Nice 4.5, but honestly, I prefer my 4.0 The whites on mine are cleaner and overall has a nicer appearance

Surprised too it received a 7.5 grade with all that creasing at the bottom right corner.. Looks 6.0 at best

I thought the CGC slabs are tamper-proof meaning if one wanted to crack the slab out, then the slab can no longer be used and/or sealed back.

I personally think that Showcase 22 will never be worth half the price of a AF 15 because he is only a 2nd tier hero

What if I have a book re-holdered and the book itself was damaged inside the inner well for who knows what reason. Will the book have a different grade than what it was graded or will it stay the same? The CGC casing inner and outer wells have been left untampered and have no cracks or other damages.

tec 27 is my personal favorite... but need more info...I would recommend whichever the person liked more (supes vs bats)... but, generically, I believe grade for grade, the better investment...action 1 I disagree.. I say Tec 27 is the better investment
