  1. @Dark Knight Do it! The more the Krangier I say! .... .....
  2. Anyone bidding on the ASM #361 CGC 9.9?? It's only at $44k so far
  3. It's the CVA sticker.. Someone paid that much for it. End of story
  4. Still waiting for a WATA pop report I wonder which will come first, that report or the Pedigree book
  5. Except those silencers are deadly! They can be sniffed miles away
  6. Just like how there are variations of Kang... There should also be variations of other Kang threads on here muahahahahaha
  7. No, that's likely not it. The witnessed signature version of most books, especially keys, usually go for significantly more than their non-SS counterparts. GPA will quickly confirm that with few exceptions. For example, sticking with IH#1 and looking at next grade down, a 4.5 SS sold for $18500 in June 2018 (!), when the two 4.5s sold that year sold for only $14.4K and $14850. And a 5.5 SS sold for $20K in March 2016, when the three sales of non-SS 5.5 that year were for only $15,535, $17,860, and $16,200. I only have a couple of biggies (high-grade, too) signed by Stan, and I like them a lot. But I hear you, and being conservative with respect to covers is certainly sensible. Good thing there's something for everyone in this hobby. You also have to take into consideration that there are not a lot of SS silver age books vs universal and restored books out there so sometimes it's hard to determine a price. It's like a dart throw on how much a buyer wants to pay. I'm just looking at Hulk 1 GPA right now and saw that a CGC 6.0 signed by Stan Lee sold for $22,800 in 2018. A universal graded 6.0 sold that same year for $25k and another for $27,500. Also a 5.0 SS sold earlier this year (Feb.) for $21,550 and a universal one sold on Jan. for $20,350 (not much of a difference). It's a very small sample size due in part to the SS version being so much less out there, but based on those data, the price difference is not significantly more as you mentioned.
  8. Duuuudeeeee!!! I'd soooo go there I wonder how the Kang burger would look and what toppings it would have
  9. I dunno what's worst.. The content of this video or Onlyfans being banned starting on Oct.
  10. At first I thought I was looking into the eye of STARRROOOO, the Starfish CONQUEROR!!!
  11. Or it could also mean silver age keys with SS labels sell for less than universal graded copies. I for one am not a fan of signatures on covers of silver age keys. I've never bought into ever since, never will...
  12. Well we'll see how this whole covid thing plays out during the winter. I think it will get worst once the cold freezing months kick in, which can potentially mean more public facilities like movie theatres to be shut down once again.
  13. How do you know it was purchased by a flipper?
  14. Poor looking 2.5 copy on Heritage up for auction right now. I don't think it will do too well.. Presents like a 1.5. The 2.5 brittle pages sold for cheap because of the PQ
  15. Speaking of VHS, it seems that a few people now are buying old sealed VHS tapes. You never know, it might make the next boom in the collectibles market lol.
  16. Yeah I estimated that 1.0 copy to sell for around $50k. It was as expected.
  17. $3.2 million for old newsprint or old pulp paper? That makes more sense to me
  18. I think it will, but in my own perspective it really shouldn't because these 9.2 and up copies are scarce and hardly ever comes up in the market that they should be placed in a separate league of their own. There is quite a bit of supply for the rest of the "lower graded ones" that are up for the pickings as we speak.
  19. Just saw that it sold on ebay from comicmylars. Books looks great for a 3.0 and it has white pages. This could be an outlier or maybe a pump/fake sale.. We'll see sooner or later.
  20. Same here, but should've could've would've held on to my other copies
  21. Would 175k to 200k be about right? Sounds about right
