  1. We'll see . I feel like I keep saying the same thing over and over again that I will own a complete copy soon and it just never happens
  2. Someone's resto collection up for grabs it seems That tec 27 sure is pretty. The colors looks newsstand fresh and they pop. I'm wondering though if the interior lightening made the pages white? Was it brittle before that was done? I've always been against any type of re-glossing on the cover and interior lightening. That's just a step beyond the kind of restoration I'd like accept in my opinion especially for books heading into the pc.
  3. Yeah that bottom edge damage was already there. I felt that it wasn't as strong of an 8.5 copy compared to typical 8.5's I've seen.
  4. For me yes, but monetary wise, I think Supes 1 will outsell Bats 1 in any grade. Just harder to find than Bat 1 and first title given solely to a Superhero in a comic book. But I do love me some Joker in Bats 1
  5. I believe VGA is currently working on their pop reports and updating their website as we speak. Hopefully they'll have it up and running before the year's end. Because Collector's Universe has bought out WATA, I see WATA too creating one as well somewhere down the line. Might take longer, but hopefully it's in the works. I believe I heard something that only a select few popular games will be in the report and only sealed examples. Better than nothing I guess. Curious to see how or if it will affect the video game market moving forward. It's just a little odd though how the sealed video game market just exploded in value practically "overnight." But it's not as crazy and surprising as those cryptopunk NFT's selling for millions of $$$ , which I still don't understand how something that is a digital print with a serial number can be worth so much.
  6. It was also a copy with very high eye appeal for its grade. And yeah the white pages too boosted up the final price since that's all the rave now.
  7. So sad to see it broken up. What a registry #1 set that is! Definitely the right time to cash out.
  8. Yeah pretty crazy price for it. It seems like a kid took his/her colored marker and just filled in all the white spots with blue, red, etc . I feel like there may be some misinformed bidders out there with regards to restoration and what the letters and numbers mean. I can maybe understand if the restoration was done professionally (A), but a C!? crazy times
  9. Damn Marvel 1 still climbing!?! My opinion not a nice copy with all that ugly resto work on the spine
  10. To my knowledge, the highest graded white paged AF 15 I've seen is an 8.5
  11. Maybe they didn't notice the problem on their end. Not quite sure. I didn't have any problems though viewing with the live auction. Did you try closing the window and re-opening it after?
  12. I would think that the serious bidders would be on the phone rather than online in case anything like this happens
  13. You're right and didn't notice it is a 9.8, thought 9.6
  14. I don't think so. Usually it's the first to be auctioned will get the highest price when value reaches these levels, but what do I know.
  15. My prediction came so close. I said $3.5 mil max and so did a few others as well.
