  1. Yep, not really a steal of a price in my opinion. Glue is very difficult to remove and I'm sure the owner has already looked into possibly having it removed by a professional. Also the light tan pages is frowned upon especially in major key books.
  2. PPP has my vote . Hopefully he gets his own title for a movie
  3. I lost by $50 .. That's more depressing than the flipper
  4. Crazy how Avengers 8 copies have risen in price. I mean a 9.4 copy could've been had last year for around 3k, which is now the price for what a 7.0 copy?
  5. Yep 3% fmv walk-thru. Would have been much cheaper if they had their copies graded years before. Probably the only draw-back, but they will make up for it greatly if they plan on selling.
  6. I'm wondering if the owners of the other three 9.4 copies are thinking about getting their copy pressed or even for a re-sub at a chance for a 9.8 By the way CGC has been grading the Promise Collection, I am certain that all three can be upgraded
  7. After losing out on the Heritage 5.0 copy, I needed to step up
  8. I'd say so. The old school collectors who have held these mega keys for years and years are smart to be selling now to take advantage of the ridiculous prices these books are getting.
  9. Looks to be all those books coming from the same owner since they were graded around that same timeframe? I wonder who it is
  10. I bought the SilverAgeComics/Elite 4.0 copy
  11. I'll be there Saturday!!!! Can't wait! 1st show since before covid hit
  12. That's a nice looking copy! Practically flawless. I'm predicting it sells for anywhere between $1 and $3 mil.
  13. Yup Matt is such a nice guy. I've had my books looked over and pressed by his company when it was Classics. So I guess he won't be doing anymore pressing? But anyways congrats Mr. President
  14. I wonder how much he paid for both of them . Crazy how the SM 64 sold for that much. There has to be a ton of sealed copies out there and potentially some unopened cases too
  15. I've always liked the WATA cases for video games. VGA seems too simple and having an old style casing look. In fact, the couple of video games I have that were in VGA casings were re-holdered by WATA. Also, when I feel the WATA cases have extra protection because it is heavier than the VGA ones and provides a clearer view of the overall grade and seal grade. Yep, VGA and WATA are indeed backed up really bad. I feel that CCG will be a real competitor and may wipe out the business of VGA completely.
  16. That was my experience too with USPS since the covid outbreak. Whenever I get a package from USPS w/ signature, I never signed for them either. I believe the driver signs them for the recipient instead. Fedex though on the other hand still doorbells and asks for a signature from the recipient
  17. USPS or FedEx are the two I mainly use. Most important thing is the way you pack your comics up for shipping.
  18. If you put those flakes in a little baggy and advertise em as coming from an Action 1, you might be able to get your $ back
