Your copy is straight fire JJ. A beauty! Doubt there is anything wrong on the inside or it would likely be noted on the label if something major.

Yeah been watching the youtube videos, mostly positive so far with the KO's. But wanted to see if anyone on here has first had experience with them. Or I can just buy one and see how I feel about it.

Yeah I agree with the spine splits on the Bat 1, shouldn't have made it in a 5.5 label. Thinking 4.5 tops. I had a Tec 35 with a small spine split at top and around a 2" from bottom staple down and it graded a 4.0. Other than that, the book is a beauty. I believe lhcomics owns that same Tec I owned.

Does anyone have any of those Transformers Masterpiece KO's by any chance? Thinking if I should give them a try since they look practically the same and I guess are made the same way as the originals. It's basically half the cost of the real ones and I'd be saving a ton if I were to build up a collection.

Funny how I didn't receive any email notifications regarding the auction ending today. Glad I didn't see any books that are must needs for me or else I would've been pissed! Also, if I was a consignor I didn't like how the auction ended early during a work day. I'm sure there are some bidders who missed out on bidding on a few books.

Indeed, because there are so many of them available to choose from in the open market. The CGC 5.0 HA copy that sold too was pretty darn ugly as well with all that color touch removal. Not a fan at all, I'm sure most would feel the same. In any case, if I am still a bigger fan of Sensation 1 over AS 8 and WW1. Just a much better cover than the other two and the hardest to come by for sale.

I've been 50/50 on which one to get.. Whether the regular Takara Prowl, Wheeljack, Sideswipe regular versions or the Anime/cartoon versions. In car mode, I prefer the regular version, but in robot mode I think the Anime versions stick out with the light blue tint. Ahh dunno what to do. I would also think the Anime versions have better/improved articulation as well.

Not a fan too of that piece off the front cover, but I think the grade given is within reason. The spine looks flawless and if that piece were still attached to the book, I can see it grading in the 9.0 neighborhood.

I have a few Centurions in my collection. One of the better made toys during that era IMO. Still love em. I also have a sealed Max Ray, and have a MIB of Jake, Ace, Wild Weasel, Hornet, Detonator, and Orbital Interceptor. Still need a few more to complete the whole collection.

Yeah ugly looking for a 5.0, so price seems to be justified because of that. Does not compare to the 4.5 copy at auction right now on ebay.

The first MP I saw and got was Soundwave. It blew my mind. It was like everything we wanted in the toys from the 80s with updated technology. The MP44 looks really cool. I wonder what they will do next? It seems like all the new stuff is getting LED light up eyes. If only they would make a Blaster that actually played tapes... I'm about to get the MP version of Megatron with the 3 different face plates and sounds coming off his huge blaster. Unfortunately the voice language is in Japanese, hopefully they can make an English version of the same voice actor from the cartoons to replace it with. I also saw the anime version of Smokescreen, Wheeljack, and Hound all look fantastic! Blaster would be cool and hopefully they can do the other 4 Dinobots! Looking into the Fans Toys Dinobots right now, look amazing!!!

Unless you just dont flip your breakfast steak,which is perfectly normal I'm sorry,I'm distracted Someone just sat down next to me on the streetcar and they shifted around like I wasnt even there,bumping into me non chalantly like I dont even exist. Part of my brain wants to flip out that's the grey matter,the other part wants to flip over the street car,that's the green part. Oh no, I have nothing against breakfast steaks, but I usually flip steaks for dinner that's all.. Speaking of which, almost dinner time. Gotta go flipping!
