  1. It's really hard to give an accurate grade from these pictures. I am anywhere from 5.0-8.5
  2. I like to think he is just taking a nap...
  3. In any event I'm at 6.0-6.5 with a press. Spine looks nice, edges are pretty clean and the corners are not too rounded. Great book!
  4. You can see it most clearly in between the words "Wow!!" and "just" on the FC and in the sentence that reads "... that would give talented people the best professional art training." on the BC.
  5. Is there a large non-colour breaking dent in the top half of the book?
  6. Hi Guys Book is on it's way so I don't have it in hand yet. I think the seller was pretty conservative with the grade so wanted to get opinions from the boards.
  7. I feel like any flamethrower cover is pretty hot right now (no pun intended).
  8. I took the Battlefield to $450. Kinda wish I'd bid more now. Had to make do with a consolation prize:
  9. Without the piece out it looks 3.0ish. So I'm leaning towards 2.5.
  10. Man Atlas had some brutal war covers, that guy's neck is sickening:
  11. P.s. DO NOT trim the interior pages. That will result in a purple and most people hate trimmed books.
  12. It's a printing error. There is no deduction below 9.8, so it won't affect the grade at all.
  13. This is a cool anti-commie cover I had not noticed before.
  14. This will garner a conserved label. Once dipped in a liquid the sizing on the paper changes and CGC can tell. There is no way to reverse it. If you've ever held a book which has been cleaned in this way it is pretty obvious.
  15. Don't get me wrong I still LOVE his work. One of the best.
