Weird thing is with UK books they keep the original title.. so if you do submit it shouldn’t say Hulk 181. The inconsistency is definitely strange.. another thing we have found out is that magazine sized comics will still have the old style label (Title from other country) ... so the change has only effected comic sized books.

I'm actually submitting my Mighty world of marvel 198 and both Spanish La Masa’s soon so we shall see how it pans out

That’s just weird and confuses the matter even more with all other foreign reprints being labelled the same as there Us count apart apart from the uk marvels what means if they where just labelling them all the same to skip corners and save time they would do the same with the uk marvels

  2. I find not labeling the books there original titles ridiculous I don’t want to send of foreign books and have them labelled as originals because you don’t want to upset the person by calling there book a reprint I’d rather have a mighty world of marvel 198 what’s labelled that and reprint of hulk 181 as written on the case then hulk 181 first appearance of Wolverine your just lying to the owner by mislabelling it and also altering the numbers in the census

  3. My first thoughts on this was despite the grades both being the same uk variants are very hard to get in high grades considering the low print run the amount of copies I imagine where quite low and then to add to that some probably got damaged in shipping and then how many people truly looked after these books if you think about it Bronze Age are getting rarer to find in high grades but pence copies in high grade are near impossible let alone silver age pence copies

  4. Hi I thought I’d post this here and see if any fellow star was fans could help me I’m looking at getting my Star Wars The Clone Wars comics signed by some voice actors who signatures I’d like and sending it to Cgc for grading but cannot find anyone who can help facilitate a signing for the voice actors I’m looking for if anyone could point me in the direction of who I could contact to make this happen I would greatly appreciate it thank you

  5. I like the old judge dredd comics so I bought a couple of the books collecting them together and managed to get this one signed by the writer who created dredd and one of the artists and asked how much a sketch would cost he said he couldn’t do a full sketch because he had to go but would do a quick one for free what was nice and this is how it turned I couldn’t have been happier with the results of the sketch

  6. honestly it’s just a pence variant it’s a mistake probably a fair few collectors have made at some point I never had this because my first comic was a pence issue this one isn’t worth grading that’s not to say that pence copies are inferior to cents just in this case the grade is to low to justify any value and it being a common comic as well
