  1. If you didn't submit your cards before February 16t, when they changed the policy from paying upfront to paying on the back end... there isn't much to complain about. I get it, they are backed up and people arent getting their items exactly when they feel they should be getting them. That's how life works. But for those that have had not only their cards, but also their money tied up, that's a bit of a different story and i feel they should certainly address it. Its gotten to the point where its borderline disrespectful.

    Standard Submission

    21 cards w/ sub-grades

    Received: 02/04/2021

    Scheduled For Grading: 03/08/2021

    Grading/Quality Control: 03/17/2021

That's crazy. I have an economy submission still recieved since December 9th. You paid 7 dollars more and submitted your order 2 months latter and your cards are already getting graded haha. This is honestly becoming insane at this point. And the worst part is they charged me 3 months ago and have had my money ever since. Happy for you (and a bit jealous lol)

I hope so, I just want to be able to buy a few packs for my kids when we go to the store.  I can't find any pokemon cards at my local retail store.

As for wait time.  I just did my first sub yesterday.  I found a few boxes of 1st edition base set a few weeks ago cleaning house, a little research lead me to grading.  Since we are talking about 1st ed Charizard, I submitted one using WK, and 38 base set 1st ed holo using EX, and 150 high price base set using economy.  95% of my sub should come back over 8.  I considered using standard over economy, and decided against it, I didn't need the card back quick, so there is really no reason for me pay $2k more just to have them back early to sit inside boxes, I will likely still have to pay up charge because many of the high price common goes over $400 if graded at 8, but hey if they are worth more I will pay for that, not for faster service.

I will send the rest of 1000 1st ed base cards slowly.  Probably submit 200 to bulk every week, that way they will space out a month each when they are graded lol since the line is growing so fast :)

Anyways, I am not going to complaint about CGC, the Charizard will cost me over $3k to grade at PSA, it's less than $200 with WK at CGC and most of it is insurance.

haha i cant tell if this entire paragraph is made up or not. I hope its real tho

  4. I mean the least they could do is prioritize the people that submitted cards before Feb 16 when they changed the policy to not having to pay until the cards go into grading. I understand they are backed up and the turn around times keep getting extended, and I would be perfectly ok with that if I didn't have to pay until they reached the grading phase, but that fact that CGC has had hundreds and hundreds of my dollars for nearly 5 months while just continuing to change the turn around times is almost criminal. I mean come on, you took my money and gave me an estimate... I get estimates are just estimates but holding my money for 5 months when I paid for a 1 month service is crazy.

Finally found some Shining Fates today, Target had a limit of 2, which is good. Grabbed a ETB and a tin. And just that quick the hunts over for me with SF. Managed to pull both cards I really wanted, Shiny Char and Ditto. Spending all my money on Hidden Fates again, with some GPK. Even though I pulled the HF Char, I just love the set

freaking epic man. I am still missing the rainbow one and ive all but given up on trying to pull it lol i hate champions path

  6. Looks like paying a bit more for standard gives you substantially faster speeds. Unfortunately my Econ submission that was received 12/9 has yet to even advance to scheduled for grading, while standard submissions that were received 2 full months later are already being graded. That's honestly pretty disappointing considering the turn around times that were advertised at the time of my submission. Apparently $8 extra dollars gets you a service that can return your cards 2 months faster. 4 dollars per month lol. If I only knew then what I know now............

You literally answered your own question. This is how priorities work.

Lol obviously someone that pays a premium for express or higher services will tend to get taken care of. If they simply only graded submissions based on when they were received, what would be the point of offering expedited services for a higher premium? There obviously is a delicate balance of not falling too far behind with bulk submissions, but to not understand that they would prioritize a submission with an average cost per card to grade in the 35-70 dollar range over a 13 bulk submission, is silly.

    Hello @Sam Howard,

I am sorry to hear of your frustration with this process. I have looked into your submission and have been told that this should be moving along very soon. I apologize for the delay and/or miscommunication on our end.

Well its funny this is for a bulk submission, meanwhile my Economy submission I submitted 5 days later and paid double the price for is still sitting as received.... Is posting in here all we need to do to get our cards graded?
