7 in my top 10 gone! Not like I knew that wasn't going to happen of course. Still projecting the less than 1% anything in my top 20 falls to me. All good though!

It'll be fun tracking. I figure there is about a 1% chance that anything I have in my top 20 will fall to #41. But there is a much better, maybe even 50%, chance something I've got between 20-30 is still available. After 30, who knows? But I am sure multiple things I'd like will still be there though.

I feel compelled to add "for now..." to this. Because we all know it's just gradually going to get worse and worse until streaming is just like network. Unless you pony up for the premium version. Which just takes us right back to the old network TV days, when HBO came around offering (uncensored) movies without adds. Everything goes around and comes around.

Oh man, @aszumilo really went above and beyond. I couldn't get all these in one picture on my table. First, he sent these cool collected omnibuses And in addition to those, a sweet graded Hulk 342. And then, just a ton of books. Some of these he picked because I had noted I was missing them from my old childhood runs, and some were just cool surprises. Thank you so, so very much (don't tell my family I was more excited by this than anything they gave me....) Merry Christmas!

There are like 35 prizes that I would be really stoked to get (plus plenty of other perfectly nice ones, yeah, yeah, yeah) This means I only need 5 people to pick something else to guarantee one of these. (I thought it was 6 at first, but realized I forgot my own thing) FIVE I know we can do this guys! (and ladies too!)

I see we have moved up from the 50s the past two years into the 40s. This is progress. At this rate, in about 4 years, we might have a high pick!

Bottom line: this scam wouldn't work if they actually regraded reholder requests. That would seem to be an easy fix. Except for (1) that takes more time and costs them money, and (2) suddenly the number of reholder requests goes way down.

I mean, what is "soon?" It's kind of reductive to say that they currently don't have the tech for ("pure") AI grading now. That's obviously true. But I think it's impossible to claim that AI would never be able to do it. It can definitely scan the front and back covers, and that's like 90% of the grade. Could also give a far more objective determination of page color than what happens now. Currently you need a person to go through the book and check for interior defects. I will allow that's much more complex to 100% automate, but I would never say it couldn't be done either.

So, are you saying it is the scammer who bought the Qualified book in that sale you posted? You can tell that? Because that tracks with him buying and then slipping it into a Blue holder. Assuming that the "graded date" does not change when a book is submitted for a reholder as some people are saying. The coincidence would be that the blue label holder he slipped it into was also graded on the same day. Which would be quite a coincidence.
