Oxidation shadow, caused by that part of the book being exposed to the elements, heat, air etc. 

At 6.0 figure about $60 graded...

Correct, this appears to be a printer's crease and should not affect the grade.  The crease was in the paper before the ink was applied so it will not appear to break color.  A clean and press will not (and should not) remove the crease.

Agree...Corner bends on three corners and stressed top edge, but all appear to be pressable...

From what I can see it's a beautiful looking higher grade copy. Without better pictures I can't get more specific than that.

I would suggest using new bags and archival safe (acid-free) backing boards for these books for better protection.

CCS (CGC owned affiliate) did the clean and press.  For my first submission I wanted an uncomplicated, seamless grading experience, so I went with CCS.  This comic was cleaner than the rest of my submitted books, but they did a fantastic job, and I'm very happy with the result.

Couldn’t agree more...  I was under on every single book with the exception of #15 Kraven.  Even then I was only over half a grade.  Perhaps it’s time to reevaluate previously rejected submission candidates.

Thanks, it was indeed an awesome day.  There were no disappointing results and quite a few surprises.  I was absolutely blown away that my first submission went as well as it did.

No doubt!  This book had been folded from the spine through Hulk’s face and I didn’t hold out much hope that it could be improved.  I stand corrected.  5.0 is an amazing grade!

Yes.  Every book had a full C&P through CCS.  I must say they did an amazing job, especially on this book.
