  1. Sadly, they have been known to do that, so this isn't new. Malvin
  2. Hi Folks, I have a batch of 1 cent no reserve pages ending tomorrow. I'm taking a pause until after SDCC so this is your last chance at my auctions for several weeks! The items and current prices: Here are the scans and current prices 1. X-Men original cover Age of Apocalypse - Rogue, Sabretooth, Blink - Lee Sullivan -$240 2. Howard Chaykin Wolverine Sketch -$11.50 3. Keron Grant Iron Man half splash where he beats up on MODOK! -$33 ebay link Thanks for looking Malvin
  3. I have bought from him before. I assume it was a Gary Frank Superman piece of some sort? Terrible seller, I got my piece but I had all kinds of problems that he promised to fix but did not. He also appears to have a short memory because he periodically approaches me every few years to sell me stuff. I stay away. Malvin
  4. Wow, I just saw a new one minute later commission. Apparently you can commission him via Spencer. So try that. Malvin
  5. heh, since it was a BIN, I really appreciate you letting me mull it over and buy! It's tiny but I love it. Malvin
  6. Why don't you go find Hen's teeth while you are at it You saw that one that was auctioned on ebay recently right? Malvin
  7. Already used it, on an item I won previously and haven't paid! (until today) :P Malvin
  8. I don't know about that. I obviously don't know the exact words said between you and the artist, but pencillers are not always consistent and it's very believable that they won't remember what happened with a specific page. Many artists I know physically draw art, but use digital if there is a time crunch, or instead of couriering physical page like the normally do, they would send digital scans of it once in a while due to deadlines. Malvin
  9. Agree with almost everything, except for the statement that implies all published art will appreciate in value Malvin
  10. $31, jackpot! Don't spend it all at once Malvin
  11. I don't know that market. The auctions are still going but I'm generally disappointed with my consignments. Then again, what they are fetching might be market value though and my expectations were out of line Malvin
  12. not that easy. Typically when someone says bluelines, it means printed pencils that are blue. However, some artists use a real blue pencil when drawing their art, so you might see "blue lines" that are hand drawn. It's not an easy hobby to fully understand... Malvin
  13. You would know by asking the seller (assuming he knows and he is truthful) or the inker. You might also get a sense based on who the artist is and when it was done, since some artists are known to ink over blue lines (or produce digital pencils only). I don't follow the Leonard Kirk market so I have no clue on your piece. Malvin
  14. don't know that particular segment of the Simonson market, but Simonson Rampaging Hulk pages can be had for $400? Just off the top of my head that would surprising. Malvin
  15. I like that one better than the gargoyle one. Not just because I have one of those pages too The gargoyle ones tend to be more for pinups, covers and commissions no? Are there a lot of published pages with him on a gargoyle? Malvin
  16. My understanding is the Copics will also fade Malvin
  17. Interesting! I agree with Shazam, Oath page and Zatanna. not quite sure on the Aquaman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Swamp Thing and others. Batman holding a dead Robin probably isn't it since there can't be that many out there. Although I did luck out and have one by Aparo for the Death in the Family card art. I don't know what would be a Batman one though Malvin
  18. I just added a couple of Wolverine pieces by Mike Zeck! Link to CAF Gallery Thanks for looking Malvin

  21. They look very similar to the published cover. I remember the brothers had a bunch of 'unused' versions before, so that's why I was initially hesitant Malvin
  22. I finally have a representative Frank Cho piece. It's a more obscure character but it has his signature big butt! CAF Link to Hope O'Dare Thanks for looking Malvin
