and to be fair, I sometimes create special threads for new art too, only for bigger pieces that I think deserve attention. But if we decide that we should only post new art in that one thread, I will of course follow those rules. Malvin

yeah, I think Bill changed it to only count unique counts from registered users. At least that is the default and there is some ways to see all counts. In the old way, your own views could never increase your count, but you can always just log out and hit refresh (or do it in an automated way) Malvin

I use a variety of sizes due to a variety of art, but I typically use the 1117R, not sure what thickness that is, I think its 4mil. I also don't typically use acid free backing boards, although I have some, since some art comes in thin paper as we al know Malvin

I always go to e-gerber, they seem to be significantly cheaper than other places. Ordering is antiquated though, no web ordering and you have to call, and they won't ship for a few weeks ,but its cheap. The quantity thing will be an issue, if you are buying only a few, you will be paying a lot, shipping will be a high fraction of costs relative to the price of the mylar, you really can't get around that. WTF - Liefeld Wolverine Sketch for almost 1K?!? cardboard is fine, but make sure to use multiple layers and that the cardboard goes in different (perpendicular) directions to make it stiffer. I myself use dollar store foam boards since Canada Post is more expensive, so foamboard helps keep it light but still stiff Malvin
