  1. Looks a lot better than a 9.0...what's the fault with it
  2. All so very cool... some books just look fantastic out on display, and the horror masters with the horror figurines looks superb (thumbs u ...and does make me appreciate my Master of Kung Foo books some more, they look really good displayed out like that
  3. No-one rummages through there. It's meticulously neat. I would shoot anyone who went near it, if it was me that had spent that amount of time, effort, and cash into it... in a heart beat!
  4. Russ, Thanks for the kind words. Your highly welcome, and to another 68' ped collector, I know it's in a good home (thumbs u ...and I'm slightly thankful it 137, and not 157 I wrote I was slightly worried there for a moment or two. It is such a great copy
  5. You ...and you know what book/books I'm talking about Bill, I was looking to buy another TTA#93 9.6 from a british seller here, but the book got sold to another buyer before I got a look in...and for more than GPA!
  6. That TTA #59 NL will look great in Bill's collection!! TTA#59 ...grail ...death, pry, cold lifeless fingers ...viking burial ... ashes spinkled over the little strip of lawn outside Stan's place
  7. ...translation, if the pound slips any further against the dollar, a few books could be hitting the blocks
  8. No doubles left, sold them all and so should you. Particularly that #70 9.6 Ya I hear ya, and do remember ol time TTA collector Steve Filosa gasping at the price I paid for the first copy $1,100... he thought it was crazy. And at the time he was right. But boy have things changed since 2 years ago. I was fortunate enough to buy a lot of his books, and they all look like give away prices now. Everything has it's cycle....
  9. Just a quick question for the TTA collectors... who here has any doubles or more of centain issues??? Just wondering
  10. Well there goes the high-grade market. Ya Tim, as Joe succintly points out, GPA opens the door for new HG collectors/investors to confidently enter the market. To say otherwise is non-sensical. As CGc provides established third party verification of grades, so does GPA provide a basis for price point. Greater Confidence = stronger market, you know this! Whether or not you agree with the basis of it's establishment or manner of operation, on the larger scale that becomes irrelevant. And the combined force of CGC, and GPA have GREATLY strengthened the market we operate in, rapidly moving comic cycles from 8 years to 4.
  11. Yes that is usually the case, and additionaly if one book in a run sells for a particular amount it can, and often does impact other books within a run. (please no iterations of various scenario's, yes everyone know's they exist)-not to you BB. (thumbs u And this is true from a buying and selling perspective. Though again there are reasons why you might not want a result included in GPA. If you've bought a book for a veritable steal off clink, having the sale published, can be detrimental if your looking to sell it sometime in the future. There are advantages to Josh's laxity.
  12. Have you ever personally dealt with Josh George has my sympathies on this particular bug-bear. Josh see's this some kind of potential revenue stream, and wants his palm greased for the pleasure of providing a full market service all the other dealers do as a matter of course. When you sell, and you establish a new market bench market, having your consignment site negate this is detrimental. When I expect, and need new benchmarks set... Pedigree gets my business, when it's irrelevant or inconsequential, Clink get's it. Josh is paying already from where I'm standing
  13. Ditto, George can we have a response to this please. Also assuming there is the introduction of Clink auction result, will you be including previous auction results? And if so, how far back are you intending to go? Thanks.
  14. Essentailly that what it comes down to... so much influencial market movement is going through their auctions these days, it would be frankly negligent to ignore their results from GPA's perspective. Their results simply are only telling half the story right now! Even with Josh not coming to the party, the auction results need including without a doubt! (thumbs u
  15. Just tune into Comic Geek Speak for the latest offerings in comicdom (thumbs u
  16. Arrh the vault, Guided tours run inconjunction with the opening hours of Buckingham Palace through the sesonal months of August, and September. Visitors are reminded to remain behind the roped of.... if only
  17. Superb addition to the collection Bill, well done!!!!
  18. Ya, I'm still trying to block those particular details out of my thinking at the moment
  19. oh and another one I got some time back...
  20. And for the set it seems out of all the late SA peds, WP seems to be the main one to have 68' books in high grade
  21. A very personal Grail Oh and I have the WP under copy as well if anyone is interested (thumbs u
  22. Gregsta, nice run indeed! You getting any of those puppies slabbed for your run on the registry, would be keen to see how they grade out (thumbs u

  24. JR. Are you SK on the registry?? Your set comment "complete it before i die" quote seems a little OTT. But I admire your dedicastion to the task (thumbs u
