  1. Indeed it is! Just pokin some harmless fun at Charltons....I am a closet-Charlton fan. My favorite titles being the Ditko issues of the Gorgo and Konga titles.
  2. ACK!!! Tom, how could you post that lowly Charlton in the pre-hero section...for shame!
  3. Love that WOF #16 -- very underrated series.
  4. Spectacular! One of my favorite Ditko covers! I think your going to like it here. Bill
  5. Hey Marvel Runs, you got good taste in comics!
  6. Or how about an X-treamly dangerous robot? Actually, ROBOT X is my favorite Atlas robot tale! A classic Stan Lee morality play about a misunderstood robot hunted as a menace, but ends up saving mankind.
  7. Cool book! What's the scoop on the "Metal Master" story? Sounds like it may qualify for a prototype designation.
  8. Here are 2 of my favorite robot covers from TOS:
  9. Nice book! I often wondered why Stan didnt do as many gorilla covers -- as they always spiked up the sales of a book over at DC. I think that only TTA 30 & 33 had actual gorillas on the covers. Anywho...here are some gorilla-ish covers:
  10. what's whiter....bone-white or eggshell-white?
  11. Well, I dont know how accurate THAT is, c'ause here he's called the "Daring Bowman"
  12. Ah, ROBIN HOOD...the original poster boy for the practice of the "redistribution of wealth"!
  13. Very nice under-rated pre-hero book! Is it me, or are OW/W pages for these puppies becoming rarer and rarer? Most of the pre-hero books I see these days have Cream pages.
  14. The "Martian" on this cover always reminded me of Loki.
  15. This book is so bright it doesn't even look old. Great stable of artists involved in producing it! One of my favorite Moreira covers! I still think this is a greytone..er..washtone ah ..pastel...um..oh, just a really cool cover (with a Kirby story inside too!).
  16. Cool shirts, but they look a little wrinked! Tell me, would you consider them restored if you took them to the dry cleaners and got them PRESSED? HAW HAW HAW.... sorry.
  17. That tune your singin sounds very familiar!
  18. Ahh..nothing I like better to see than a nice, sharp, High Grade pre-hero book...RAW! Jaster, were those from a collection? I would love to hear the back-story on those books. thanks, Bill
  19. Here's another one of my favorite "Brown Monster" covers... On the inside he's steel-blue, but he must have been caught in the rain and rusted up when just before this cover scene.
  20. I will admit that this book as seen thru mylar does give it a nice rich tint, but I likes my covers like I likes my meat...totally RAW!
  21. I think it has a slightly "harder" look than the typical DC cover. The interior story is beautiful. Extnay onway ethay Ousehay ofway Ysterymay! I have been trying to find that book in HG for ages...the last thing I need is competition from a bunch of you HG yahoos!
  22. I hear ya! It goes soooo nice with these puppies:
  23. Wow, what a nice copy! That bright orange Gargoyle really pops out at ya! BEWARE HUNDU!
