  1. I'm not even a tiny bit surprised. I saw a couple of middle aged women fighting over the last copy at a yard sale Black Friday style.

    Oh, it's happening.

    $100 for a 9.8 Deadworld

    $80 for a 9.8 Batman #408

Plus plenty of raw sales on the Batman #408 $10-$20.

I mean, these are obviously the hottest books on the planet.

I'll certainly be reminding everyone about them. I

I just sold multiple copies of Batman 408 to fellow dealers at SCComicon. I'm not positive as to what all the fuss about, but the word is out. This book is obviously en fuego!

  2. If you think I mean "Pump" and "Dumper" you're way off. Little Batman 408 and lil Deadworld 1 are going to be the hottest babies at the hospital.

If I ever have twins I think I just figured out what their names are going to be.
I read a pump and dumper calling someone else a pump and dumper, and I commented.
  3. I wish. I did get a collection with a bunch of retailer variant Transformers issues though.

Elija is on some pump and dump crack. He must have gotten a moldy collection that had these books, and is tripping.

As for you RMA...You'd think for someone who's been posting on this forum for 11 years, you'd think you knew know how to talk to someone and how this ratio thing works.

Math makes you so angry doesn't it?

Ignore is much easier.......Ignore also gives me the last word. That is bliss.

    BYE FELICA.

  4. That's pretty hot! I'd check the moderns heating up thread for the latest update. There's been a sale for $200 (equivalent) on the Deadworld #1. No real news on Batman #408 though. Maybe it's cooling off.

Thanks everyone for following me over from the modern thread.

Batman #408 has gotten insanely hot over the past few minutes. It features the origin of Jason Todd. If you see one for less than $50, I would grab it.

Also, Deadworld #1 is scorching. I think there may be a TV show in the works. My source? The guy at the gas station was talking about a homeless guy that keeps peeing on the gas pumps at night. He didn't mention Deadworld getting a TV show, but it seemed like he wanted to. Maybe he's being extorted, and could only hint at that fact with his body language. (this was obvious)

Definitely buy either of these books if you see them.

    lol

    I sold a 9.6 #408 for $45 to someone recently. ;)

  5. All of this is dead on. I also just sold a 9.8 Deadworld #1 to the homeless guy outside the gas station. He couldn't give me any money, but he gave me a bag of what appears to be crushed up glass. He said the bag's worth around $200, and I definitely trust him. I mean, he pees wherever he wants with impunity. Can this be reported to GPA?

Deadworld #1 CGC 9.8 blue label sold for $100 on March 1.

Raw copies seem to be selling for $10 to $15, which I would assume is typical for a black cover back issue that didn't have the highest distribution numbers.

Heating up? I'm not sure. Selling well in CGC 9.8? Yes.

  6. I'm not saying that I have a bunch of these, but I'm also not saying that I don't. I definitely do though. I'm glad since they are both scorching up the internet right now.

I think I'm going to start an appreciation thread about them.

Should I start one for each book, and then one for the two books together? 3 total threads? I don't want to burn down the entire internet.

  7. Oh, it's happening.
