  1. lol This is awesome.

    Horse poo.

I don't know what book you're referring to WRT the 9.9 comment but nonetheless, I am able to grade a raw copper book at a 9.9.I am confident in my ability to discern the subtle difference(s) between a 9.8 and a 9.9, just as a seasoned collector should be able to.

I have 4 ridiculously sharp copies of Doctor Strange: Sorcerer Supreme # 1 that I plan on submitting to CGC.It's been about a month since I looked at them but IIRC, I think I pegged 2 copies as clocking in at 9.8 and 2 copies at 9.9....after they were to be pressed.

All 4 copies have a defect that keeps them from hitting 9.8 or higher; about a one inch square of writing indentations.I am going to press these books out before sending them in and hell, I'd wager an easy $100 that 2 of the 4 come back as 9.9.

    Whatever happened with this?

How many Benjamins were you on the hook for?

  2. Ah. Thanks for the info. I guess the indicia rules then. Seems weird that it would have that cover, and be listed under the other title. I remember when it came out thinking it was a strange thing for Marvel to do in the first place.

Also, lol That was actually my first time using it. It was one of the first things that popped up mentioning that the book was sometimes referred to as "Ghost Rider: Finale:"

  3. Everything I said is correct unless you know something I don't. It says #94 on the cover. Every site I looked at calls it Ghost Rider #94. Marvel wiki calls it Ghost Rider #94.

(pic not for you since you obviously know the issue)

Why is it not Ghost Rider #94? I mentioned that it was published years later. That does happen. (All Star Comics in the 70's springs to mind as an example as a series that had a large gap between issues) Does the indicia not say Ghost Rider #94? Curiosity is killing me.

Close, but you're thinking of #94 that was published years after and is an easy find. #93 was the "last" issue.

How HTF are the last three issues of Darkhawk? What about Ghost Rider #93?

I haven't looked for the GR book, but the final Darkhawks, like many final marvel books during that time, are.

I haven't found Ghost Rider #93 to be that hard to find; it was issued a fairly long period after #92, which is hard to find.

Ghost Rider 94 doesn't exist. The issue that was supposed to be published as Ghost Rider 94 was eventually published (9 years later) along with a reprint of issue 93 as Ghost Rider Finale. Yes, it has a cover layout that makes it look like a "regular" Ghost Rider 94 and no, it is not hard to find.

  5. I love venom variants. This sale makes me happy. I wish the print run wasn't only 12 1/2 copies though. I'd love to have more.

Also, Preacher 1 has been good to me this week as well. Preacher had a print run of at least 700 copies, so it's not all that rare. Thank the gods I have more.

  6. Just got a big shipment of slabs from Clink, and they all have that stupid sticker on the back of the actual slab. Some of these are for me, and I don't care much. Some of these are for resale, and I would assume that would bug some customers. Have they always done this?

  7. lol For your sake, I hope you're kidding around. No one thinks that the Tron variants are actually Venom variants. I've heard these Apocalypse variants are actually Venom variants though. And you should look at Ebay again. The Cap, Spidey, Hulks, Secret Avengers, etc are all selling for $20-$60 raw.

Tron variants are 1:15....and they are *Tron*....not Venom.

I've never seen them, or heard of them, intil now.

Looks like they sell for about $15 each, raw NM-ish.

  8. lol no. I didn't read that article until this evening. I've been keeping an eye on them myself because I have the Captain America and Avengers ones. They look to have been selling pretty well on Ebay the last few months before that guy wrote the article signalling his sheep. I doubt they will sell for as much as the Venom variants due to the difference in scarcity, but they do seem to be heating up. I think they're pretty cool looking.

Tron variants are the new Venom variants. (or maybe Venom variants were the new Tron variants :insane: )

Are you the CBSI GUY? Tron pump and dump

Man these guys buy this stuff up then pump it ! Any one following these guys are C H U M P S !

Its not pump and dump. Its pump and chump....

Anyone with a brain knows those books have been bought by mostly BY PUMPERS before the hyped up web post. I mean this is getting desperate.

  9. #1) FCBD already happened, and the world is ending before next year's.

#2) If it is already signed it will get a green qualified label and it can't be certified as a signature series book. Although I've heard there's a Green/yellow combo label now, so maybe you could get it signed over the original sigs, and then get a yellow/green with a notation.

    #3) WTTB!
