  1. What does that diarrhea mess of a run-on sentence even mean? You haven't sent the book yet, have you? If you haven't, don't. Walk away from what will surely grow into a larger headache of a deal. Sentence make Hulk head hurt! :: Amen! That was one of the most astounding run-on sentences in world history. Whether PM or public post, that kind of communication should qualify someone to be banned from the Internet. I pity the ones responsible for grading his school papers. Scott, I really dont unerstand watt yer trying to say here are u sayin that their are stupid peeple using the internet u gize are just a bunch of bullys behind ur keeboards and hear i thought all of yuz guys were nise people thank god my english and spelling are grate utherwize I might have a prolem wit yu.
  2. Thanks for the nice feedback.
  3. The way I look at it is like this - if the Indians on Manhattan Island were willing to sell the island for $24 worth of beads and trinkets in 1626 to the Dutch, if this guy was willing to accept $30 for an AF #15 then so be it.
  4. do both I can just see it now.... Nurse: "Doctor, you have another patient and we're running behind by about an hour." Doc Joe (at computer screen at work): "OK. Let me finish checking these MRI scans and I'll be right in." (hurriedly closes his CGC chatboard screen)
  5. Absolutely LOVE this cover!!! Agreed. By far my favorite Bronze Age Avengers cover. The colors just really pop on high grade copies of this issue.
  6. Thanks Nick! Just picked up the whole lot for $20.00!
  7. Look at it this way. You're one of probably only a few people who has a Steve Ditko autograph (even if it is only his first name and not on a comic book)! I think it's great myself! (thumbs u
  8. Just sold an FF #12 CGC 2.5 to Brian. We worked out a time payment and he paid ahead of schedule. Thanks again Brian. (thumbs u
  9. $2 - Recently or several years ago? Looking at which date I posted in the PGM thread, I would say 7/21/11. What's it missing?.. killer book regardless. $2 for a $500 book aint bad at all (thumbs u It's missing the centerfold and is incomplete thus the .5 grade.
  10. I'll be starting a big sale either tomorrow night or Friday. This will be an all raw sale featuring books from these series and ranges. Not all of the books in those ranges will be offered. 1) Amazing Spider-Man #21-100 (55 issues) 2) Iron Man #5-50 (42 issues) 3) Journey Into Mystery #92-125 (21 issues) 4) Sub-Mariner #2-42 (42 issues) 5) Tales to Astonish #53-99 (30 issues) Most of these books are low to mid grade. Let me know if you're looking for a particular book.
  11. Hell, I'll give him 100 times what he originally paid for it.
  12. Picked up 2 more scarce Whitman issues on Friday at a local garage sale:
  13. You must be talking about those 4 Marvel Comics Presents #85s. Those are actually mushrooms below Wolverine and not skulls. CGC 9.6s only sell for $20-$25 but CGC 9.8s are going for $60-$75 now. yea what would you want for that? PM sent.
  14. I will agree with dopy02 in that you should have taken the initiative to go ahead and update your Paypal address to your current address. That would have taken like what - 5 minutes? And sending slabs via Media Mail was a no-no in the first place. If you can't afford to pay $10 to pay for Priority Mail box shipping then you shouldn't be able to afford the slabs either. I would nominate the seller though as they clearly didn't follow instructions that they personally acknowledged. And could someone have been living at your former adress at the time the package was delivered? Since they didn't have to sign for it maybe THEY have the package.
