  1. I hear from a reliable source you'll get at least $30-$75 for this one alone.
  2. 8th Printing 4th Printing 1st Printing 1st Printing
  3. Here's the scan I promised of this book: And yes, it's already sold.
  4. +1 Reno said Pirate, whom I can't find reference to in the last 5 pages of this thread. So I assume he's talking about the book that I posted. The X-Men #303 with the gold cover is the Pressman variant (the normal cover is white). I understand it's pretty difficult to find (although I now have 3 copies myself).
  5. Found this earlier today in a dollar box at a local Vintage Stock store.
  6. Starslayer 3 gave me the toughest time tracking down 9.8's on this book. Not sure if it was production issues or not. But most of the really nice copies I tracked down had 2-3 spine stress lines near the middle of the spine. Nick, Some do have minor spine ticks but others do not. I think I'll send in about 5 of the best copies real soon via Fast Track and we'll see what happens.
  7. Shouldn't take that long. In fact, I'm thinking of sending in another submission before the end of the year to beat the price increase.
  8. Now I wonder why I like these covers so much....
  9. Thanks as always to the easiest buyer to deal with on these chat boards.
  10. Just found these in high grade in the big comic collection I bought over the weekend: 24 issues of Starslayer #3 (2nd Rocketeer, 1st Betty). They'll need to be pressed to remove a stacking curl but most should garner 9.4 to 9.8 (I hope). Haven't found any #2s yet but I still have a few boxes left to sort through. Not Dave related, but there were also 9 high grade copies of Starslayer #1 in there as well.
  11. I purchased a huge collection of comics yesterday that was listed on Craigslist. I originally thought they were mostly Silver and Bronze books, but when I got there I realized they were mostly Bronze, Copper and Modern books. There's a lot of drek and multiples, but I went ahead and bought them anyway. There were some nice books in there though: 1) San Diego Comicon Comics #2 2) Batman #244 (lower grade) 3) Batman #251 (lower grade) 4) ASM Annuals #4 thru 12 5) ROM #75 (last issue) 6) Marvel Spotlight #32 (1st Spider-Woman) 7) X-Factor #6 (1st Apocalypse) 8) DC Comics Presents #26 (1st New Teen Titans) If you're looking for cheap filler copies for any Copper or Modern Age titles let me know via PM. There's a ton of the Marvel and DC offshoot titles in there along with a bunch of Image, Marvel Epic and Valiant books as well. Most of the books will be 50 cents each.
  12. You have a very unusual approach. To sentence structure. I think you are. Ending your sentences before they are. Finished. My money is on smart phone typing. Hit the space bar twice too fast and it adds a period and caps the first next letter. My IPad2 does that too.
  13. I know you poking fun, but I've been thinking about that. Is it wrong to offer books/items that are exclusive to a thread? I mean, do we have to take it to the sales threads? They sell art in the OA forums. Magazines are exchanged in that forum. I think offering Dave Stuff to Dave fans is ok. I went ahead and created a thread for most of those Dave books in the Copper/Modern Age selling area anyway. (thumbs u
  14. ARGH!! I need both of 'em, and missed both of them for like $11 last year on eBay. GRRRR> I picked mine up at a local Vintage Stock store for a buck. That's awesome! Now sell me some Mutant Massacres... pretty please...? You're referring to X-Men #210-213 right? I don't know. I only have a couple of them.....
  15. Found out yesterday that my X-Men #303 Pressman Variant (Gold cover) is only coming back CGC 8.0. It will be for sale once I get it back if anyone is interested.

  20. Well...............that's strange! Awesome books dude!!!!!!! :headbang: Awesome stuff brother, how old are you? I'm thinking by the time you get to be my age, knowing your collection.Your going to have one hell of a collection.Don't tell the Doomsday naysayers that your young, they think comic collecting's gonna die with us old folks. Thanks! I'm 16. I try to keep telling those people that there's still some of us out there, but they won't listen! I would like to commend you for acting well beyond your years on these chatboards. I was a couple of years younger than you when I took my first hiatus from comic collecting. That departure lasted about 30 years. Here's hoping you stick with comic collecting for a long, long time.
