I'm not a huge MAD collector, but I have almost all of the MAD Specials/Super Specials from 1 thru 54 (missing 7 or 8 I think), a few of the MAD comics (once had 17 of the 23 comics), a good number of the mags up through about issue 200 and these slabs: 1st MAD magazine I also have a raw copy of #24 that's in about 5.0-6.0 condition that I plan on slabbing at some point. I do have some duplicate MAD Super Specials so if anyone needs any let me know and I'll see what I've got. Maybe we can do some trading for specials I need. (thumbs u

Hey shark. LTS had been brought up before in several other posts regarding danimal's situation, one even suggesting she should be in part responsible! (thankfully that got squashed quickly). I'm sure it has become a somewhat sensitive situation for her. Hi there. Now that you mention it (about the quashing), I believe yours truly (meaning me) was the 2nd person to squash the idea that LovinTheSurfer should be help responsible in any way for Danimal's troubles.

You are a very nice man, but you have obviously never BEEN pregnant...your hormones kind of make taking things personally a default mode. I hope everyone takes that into consideration and finds something less painful to her, to joke about. I tried to say this before... we cannot hold Kingsly responsible for Dan's actions. Hopefully he will realize that he's putting her in an awkward position and perhaps that will motivate him, but other than that, I hope everyone leaves her off this thread. I completely agree with you and Snake Eyes about LovinTheSurfer having nothing to do with Danimal's problems. He created the situation and he's the one who has to fix it - not her. But I think you guys (and her) are blowing this way out of proportion. Just because t3quila posted one simple comment and I thought it was funny does NOT mean that we think LTS is responsible or involved in any way with what Danimal did. I just simply thought that the statement was funny as I'm sure other people did too. I've always tought my kids that it's OK to have fun - just don't do it at the expense of other people. And I don't believe either t3quila or I were attempting to do that here. She took it personally and I'm sorry that she did but no malice was intended towards her. Over the past 8-1/2 years, I've grown my comic collection from 0 to around a grand total of about 50,000 books. Due to my current financial position, mainly due to an unexpected stoppage in receiving unemployment benefits almost a month ago (which will hopefully start up again soon), I'm going to have to start the process of substantially reducing the amount of books I have including many from my "main collection". I really don't like selling raw books in here (I think it's mostly a waste of time), but I may choose some here and there to list on the boards. I also have around 700 slabs so some of those will be sold as well. Any Spidey related slabs I have will not be sold but a lot of the others I have will be available. If you see anything of interest from my registry sets that you're interested in, send me a PM and I'll let you know if I will sell it or not. I'll be running various sales threads here and there on the boards in the coming months. I'll be listing a lot of books on eBay as well.

I received 15 Batman slabs in today's mail between issues #343 and #436. All of them received grades of 9.6 or 9.8 except for one (a 9.4). I'll be listing most of them later tonight after I get them scanned.

Seeing as this probation list is in the Comics Market - Forum Only Selling Area I would think that it would not be appropriate to start listing coin related issues in here too. Sounds like a good time to start a probation list in that area though!

Kudos to you for coming on here and trying to straighten everything out. The only thing I found wrong with what you said was what was stated above. Ignoring a problem won't make it go away. The best way to handle this would have been to PM all of those who bought books from you, explain your financial situation and state that there would be a delay in shipping the books. I'm sure most would have been reasonably understanding.
