I think that is the challenge for Alex. He either has to produce a PP confirmation, or move on from this probation request which I am assuming is dead already. But I think at the 6-month mark (or something reasonable), I would have come to an agreement this was not going to happen. Two years has led to confusion if a payment was ever even made or not. It is rather easy to confirm in Paypal whether a payment has been made or not. Just click on "Payments sent" then just pick the time period you want. For example, I just checked on all of the payments I sent between 9/1/08 and 12/31/08. If Alex did in fact make a payment to Jon through Paypal, he should be able to find it in about 2 minutes. Of course, Jon could do the same thing but by clicking "Payments received" instead.

Nowhere actually. Cavecarson, the original poster in this thread, had started a listing on page 1 but never kept it up. So there's a ton of people who have posted in here (myself included) who are NOT on that page 1 list.

Well, that's 3 double cover copies of that issue that we know of (yours, the one I just received and the one I still have coming). Must have been a problem with that particular print run. There are probably more out there somewhere.

Nice pick up. I have a double cover of that book. Also saw one on eBay recently. They didn't even note that it was a double cover on eBay and probably didn't even know it WAS a double cover. I also snagged that other one that you're talking about. BTW, I understand you might have gotten a little bit of snowfall in Buffalo a few days ago?

I recently made a purchase of 9 different Marvel Star #1 issues from mycomicshop on eBay all in supposed NM condition. I received them yesterday, began grading them and of course the first one I look at (Air Raiders #1) was a FN/VF at best. But the 3rd book I looked at (Bullwinkle and Rocky #1) quickly made up for that. How? See the pic below.
