How quickly would you expect a reply? My personal opinion would be 3-4 days at most. I know people leave on weekend jaunts and all that, but if you're selling something on the boards, it should be your responsibility to maintain contact with your buyers as soon as possible. That's just being courteous and responsible.

Great buy! Purchases like this are just an example of the fact they're are still a lot of good books out there to be had. Just keep looking and digging and eventually you find some good stuff at a good price. (thumbs u

Not exactly a magazine either, but I picked up this copy of Graphic Gallery #4 featuring Carl Barks painted front and back covers for a buck.

I picked this up at a local estate sale this morning. Graphic Gallery #4 from 1974 with painted front and back covers from Carl Barks. Not sure if it's worth anything or not but it was a cool item to pick up for a buck. Seems like I've seen one of these posted in here before somewhere. I also picked up a bunch of Life and Look magazines from the late '60s to early '70s with covers featuring Marilyn Monroe, Racquel Welch, Robert Redford, Clint Eastwood, the George Wallace and Martin Luther King assassinations, the Kent State shootings, the '69 Miracle Mets, Apollo 7 and a couple of Man on the Moon. People are prosecuted on a daily basis in this country for "mistakes" that they made.

Because if you offer something up at a certain price and the buyer accepts that price, then it's a done deal. Period.
