You stop being ridiculous (see what I did there?) Again, who decides who removes "that nonsense"?
The platform, as is their right.

First, where did you pull the millions of lives number come from? I would argue that suppressing info is much more dangerous.
Second, who do you propose (and trust) gets the right to silence opinions? "Fact checkers", that's a joke. An AI program? Humans right the code, and we can see how social media has widened the divide between people not made us come together, mainly due to the way the ad model incentivizes ratcheting up the rhetoric on both sides. You want to give the government the right to censor and delete? Possibly the worst idea of them all, as history will prove. If you want to "remove that nonsense" please explain how.
The government has done nothing of the sort. Stop being ridiculous.

Proven false, scientifically. Next.
Seeing as I didn’t post anything to be proven or disproven, I’ll just dismiss your response.

When Facebook and Twitter follow orders from government officials, as has been demonstrated, the companies become agents of the government and are bound to honor free speech protections. If they had wanted to remain free of those protections, they should not have made private arrangements whereby government officials could conveniently and covertly give them binding requests.
Yup. Someone's been buying into the lies. Sorry, but when misinformation is being spread on a platform that costs millions of lives, the platform should seriously consider removing that nonsense.

Sorry, I'm always going to side with free speech regardless of platform (Facebook, Comic book message board, the local bar you drink at). The cure for bad ideas are good ideas discussed openly and honestly, not acting like a dictator and wanting someone shut down / silenced / de-platformed.
"I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it" - Evelyn Beatrice Hall
Except good ideas are not being discussed openly and honestly. The low IQ types are absorbing bad information and defending it with their lives...and ours. Misinformation like this should be removed.

I'm so glad I never got caught up in their sticker/pin/etc. nonsense. I may pay a little more snagging a wayward issue off eBay now and then, but I'll take that any day over jumping through Bad Idea's hoops.

That whole variant is weird. He has nothing to do with what's happening in the book at all. He is on the cover of HRA #3 and a big part of the story, so a variant like this for that book would have made a lot more sense. Still plenty available on Mayhew's site, so doesn't look like demand is that great.
This one's a disappointment. I grabbed a copy, but it's not going anywhere right now it seems. Oh well. I really dig the cover anyway.

Looks like ASM 88 with the Goblin Queen, a book that has been telegraphed for well over a month, is the winner this week.
That's what I hear. Grabbed the 1:10 and 1:25 online, but we'll see if I can snag the regular A cover in the shop this morning...without the owner jacking up the price due to popularity.

We really didn’t need a video for that. Yawn
Ha ha. Yeah, I don't have the issue in hand, but I heard. I love me some Cates, but stop, Donny.

Which begs the question, what would you do if this was your slab that you received back from CGC? You send something in anticipating an 8.0 or 8.5… And it comes back in a 9.8 label. I couldn’t do nothing. I’m afraid I’d have to contact CGC to inform them there’s been a mistake. I could never sell a 9.8 like this in good conscience.
I couldn't have something in my collection like this even without an intent to sell. It would bother me too much.

9.8s never have notes
Not quite true. I've had a couple with notes (about a non-color breaking spine tick or two), but I will agree that this is most likely rare.

Yeah you’re probably right, time to flog #1 - #20 for a quick buck.
Seems a rinse and repeat scenario for any donny cates series that gets going. It happened with Venom and now Hulk too, just buy the first few issues and you know there’s going to be a new bad guy in there somewhere.*shrug* I'm enjoying the arc, but then again I really enjoyed the Venom run as well.

Big happenings to come, or manufactured hype? We'll see I guess.

More in general, but it depends what I'm trying to do. I still work on completing some runs with many lower grade reader copies, but books I really value, I try to buy with as few defects as possible. That being said, if a book is pretty rare, I'll be a little more lenient.

And yet, unfortunately, no great alternative to eBay exists, so I will continue to sell there.

Did they come pre-bagged and boarded?
Not individually. I picked mine up at a shop and all five issues came in a sealed bag together.

I love me some David Mack, so I picked it up. I haven't taken the books out of the bag yet though, so thanks for posting the covers here. Gorgeous.

I haven't perused it fully, but what I saw was fantastic.

I've sent in a handful of books over the last few months to get signed, all including pressing and I believe all a week or so before the cutoff date given. I'd say on average I've been getting them back around three months after they've received them.

Only they aren't taking their company seriously because if suspicions are confirmed, a company has the ability to contact CGC and literally purchase grades. It's not "fun and games, or a prank, or a stunt. It was a bad business decision they refuse to explain themselves for. They advertise themselves as impartial. They should stick to that.
If you say so. It's obviously a joke to me and many others. Ten pages of this outrage.
