  1. Right. That's why I'm just looking to grab what I like and then snag a ratio variant off eBay or something if I really want it.
  2. It can mean both. That being said, I sincerely doubt anyone will see any value in these outside of the ratio variants.
  3. Yeah, I'm tempted to bypass pressing, but I'll always wonder if my grades would be better if they were pressed. I just have to suck it up and deal with the TATs as they stand.
  4. I missed out on the former, but thankfully I picked up the latter. I just really dug the cover. Glad it's seeing a bump.
  5. Oh I know. I'm sure there are things that really bother me regarding slabs that others don't really care about.
  6. They're slightly annoying, but not usually all that visible unless you look at them at an angle. Ultimately, not a big enough deal to send back.
  7. I saw that yesterday. I should send mine in to get graded, but with Sony's track record for films, I can see the value dropping substantially before I get it back.
  8. Yeah, raw won't get you much unless it's a big name. You COULD send them into the competition to get the signatures verified, but I don't know if the cost of that outweighs the return.
  9. I have faith that Cates will provide more answers and more of a spotlight on new characters as time goes on. We're only six issues in. Some have said he has not followed through in the past, but I haven't seen that at all.
  10. I actually don't mind this one, and I tend to hate most things Liefeld.
  11. I wouldn't say cameo, but first appearance determinations have been known to be fuzzy. Sometimes, the market ultimately decides.
  12. In my experience, it takes a while for CGC to start listing first appearances on the label. The character has to gain a fair amount of traction first.
  13. That is understandable. I see myself reaching this point eventually as well, though I fear my spending addiction would just turn that new money into the products of a new hobby.
  14. No skin off your nose? Here you are complaining. I'm sure he was fine not dealing with an annoying customer.
  15. He had knowledge of his product. It was a 9.6. He has no obligation to barter with you.
  16. I take it you don't follow The Onion's work. Nothing is off-limits, and I like it that way.
  17. You worry about your own money and stop telling others how to spend theirs.
  18. And I’m thankful they’re doing a signing with him since I have couple books I want him to sign. I still don’t see the problem with this.
  19. And if the "sheeple" want it, what concern is it of yours?
  20. Clearly you understand neither. You've been reported by the way. Get your next account ready. Maybe you'll grow up by then.
