  2. A word of advice from someone who's been here a while if you're serious about selling here: - Take the time to post a picture (back and front) on your sales page - Give it a grade - refer to the PGM page if you are crowd sourcing the grade, but ultimately the grade you assign is your grade

  4. Bill Everett started with this: I think it was a combination of Alex Schaumburg and later artists like Allen Simon who took liberties to make him look less human and more hydrodynamic for his environment.
  5. I'm not a lover of Kirby bronze age art but I do appreciate what he did, his work output and the legacy that he left us all. I prefer his GA/SA work rather than his bronze age work - it seemed grotesque to me. However his elaborate backgrounds I have appreciated as I've gotten older. His page output was amazing.
  6. Only 45s from Marvel that I recall. I remember 33 1/3 record from the original radio broadcasts of Superman that I used to check out of the public library when I was a kid.
  7. In all seriousness, it took me a couple of months to pay Bedrock. To do that I had to decimate my full run AF15 and ASM 1-100 run just to pay for it.

  9. Ever since I was a kid Marvel Comics #1 was my holy grail. Almost 10 years ago, on these very boards, my dream came true.
