  1. I would put them in Edgar Church's basement. Seems like a good place to me.
  2. Jimmy wins and here's why. Jughead Jones took off his hat and exposed his incredibly shiny bald spot. The sun hit his bald spot, shone on Jimmy's watch as he's trying to contact Superman and the intensity of the original sun beams intensified by his watch has rendered Jimmy blind with two scorched corneas. He ultimately does get his just deserts when Superman shows up and sees the spectacle. With one specifically accurate blow from his lips he frosts Jughead's bald spot. However, this causes Jughead's brain to also freeze in that area and subsequently the lack of oxygen to the primary functions of his brain are dead. He goes into cardiac arrest and dies on site. The crowd looks on as Superman slowly walks backwards and in a blink of an eye jumps and flies away. Remember kids, with great power comes great responsibility - too bad Superman's uncle never taught him that.
  3. Dang it! I was writing it up when the results got posted!!!!!!!!!
  4. I missed a round, rats! This round: Rick Grimes This one is easy - Rick Grimes is the Sherif of his suburban Georgia town and goes into a coma after a fire fight, a la Walking Dead 1. When he wakes up Invincible has already been eaten by the zombies because he didn't have his powers yet and Viltrumite brain is soooo tasty. You should try it with some fava beans and a nice chianti some time.
  5. Round 4 goes to Spock because any other choice would be illogical.
  6. Round 3: Sue Storm just because I'm out and about and can't come up with a witty storyline.
  7. Round 2 Deadpool wins, here's why. Deadpool is riding his clown bicycle (you know the one that's only 4 inches high) runs into Little Lulu on the park trail in Central Park. Lulu was just going home after visiting Eloise in the Plaza Hotel. She's just bought an ice cream cone from the Mister Softee truck and it's full of sprinkles. As she walks past a slow moving Deadpool she drops a couple of sprinkles on the path and as everyone knows, those tiny bikes are susceptible to any object on the road so Deadpool drop to the side like Benny Hill on a trike. As he picks himself up, Deadpool draws his katanas and faces Lulu and says something about chimichangas and stuff. Lulu slowly turns to him, with a single raised eyebrow she turns and leaps like Trinity on the matrix with a menacing arcing of the arms. Deadpool is startled at the roundhouse kick he receives to the face...not once but seven times - who knew someone with rain boots like that was so nimble??!! She spits on the ground and tells him she's taking bigger fish down in her life, probably referring to Tubby. Deadpool is startled at the sight and runs the other way since he's never seen anything like this in his life! Lulu is proud of herself and take one swift straightening of her dress and turns to walk away. However, in her victorious oversight she steps in the small puddle of ice cream she had dropped and slips and is flying in the air backwards only to land on the tiny bicycle that Deadpool left. Akin to Maggie from Million Dollar Baby, she crushes her neck and snaps her spinal chord - leaving her a wasted heap - paralyzed from the neck down.
  8. Round 1 Ambush Bug wins, here's why. Ambush Bug, AKA Irwin Schwab, is the 401K administrator for the Daily Bugle. Unbeknownst to Peter Parker, Spider-Man's alias, Irwin has taken portions of the contributions from the employees of the Daily Bugle, including Peter and began investing in Tesla in 2019. As the Tesla stock skyrocketed through 2020, Irwin reported a modest gain in the "fund" that he is handling for the company while he has made himself a millionaire many times over. Irwin has liquidated all his assets yesterday and announced his retirement this afternoon and is moving to the Cayman Islands where he will set up Ambush Burgers that are open only for lunch from 11:00 to 3:00 while he works on his tan. The clear winner: Ambush Bug.
  9. In English, the dollar sign is placed before the amount, so the correct order is $20. However, I see people using 20$ in the sales thread repeatedly, it's likely they're being influenced by a few different things: Many other countries (and the Canadian province of Quebec) put the currency symbol after the amount In spoken English the word dollars follows the amount, e.g. twenty dollars The sign for cents is placed after the amount: 25¢ Because of these inconsistencies, writing 20$ is a very common mistake. Now stop making it!
  10. That's just the Yancy Street Gang that moved to Hoboken.

  12. I am not generally a DC fan and have never cracked open an OMAC comic, but this cover has always baffled me. Is that a contortionist who was encased in a cement box? Does the dude have a pony tail or a mohawk?
  13. #1 is still higher than #55 - comparing 9.6 with recent sales data.
  14. Technically, this is the first and only issue...
  15. Amazing Adventures Astonishing Tales Pep Incredible Hulk I take that back.
