  1. Like several (many?) others, I overthought things too much this round... I also thought the Four Color #348 had a chip missing at the lower right corner...was my biggest miss.
  2. @HouseofComics.Com, I see that stalwarts A-1 Comics, Champion Comics and Heroes Comics are not setting up…was there a conflict, or are you just giving some other dealers a chance to set up at this show?
  3. 3.5 for me as well...book presents very nicely!
  4. Awesome report...thanks for sharing! Hoping to make it back to SDCC next year...
  5. Maybe the kid was trying to help free the Torch from Pete’s trap?
  6. 4.0 for me as well...presents nicely for the grade!
  7. 6.0 for me as well, but I could see it grading out at 6.5...nice book!
  8. CGC 7.5 that I just cracked out and read...five more issues to go to complete my run of JLA #1-38!
  9. My comment was based on how much other books have dropped recently, and in light of the current market I didn't expect this copy of X-Men #1 to sell for more than the last copy...I also wonder if that lower right corner had anything to do with the lower price. I'm in the market for an X-Men #1 so I'm following these results with keen interest...
  10. Great story! Interestingly enough, this is now my lowest number Flash…
  11. Seems like a good deal to me...I would be a bit worried about the C/OW pages potentially impacting a future resale though. I'm not sure how many people avoid C/OW pages on big keys like this book, but it is something to consider...maybe some other folks can weigh in on this? It presents very nicely for a 3.5!
  12. Thanks! Fortunately, I was able to sell a few other books to fund this purchase…
  13. Finally landed a copy of this book after never owning one! I now have all the Golden Age Flash crossover issues that were on my list (#123, #129, #137 and #151)...
  14. I've been looking for what feels like forever for a TTA #44 that didn't have pre-Marvel chipping on the right edge of the front cover or any smudging on the back cover...I know I probably overpaid a bit for it, but am happy to finally land this copy!
