  1. Thanks, that's a really nice looking genuine 2nd print you got there!
  2. Hi @Turtle I didn't know there were two versions of the insight edition. I apologise if this has been asked before but what are the differences between the 2014 and 2018 printings? Is there a date inside them or is it simply that one has a matt finish and the has a glossy finish?
  3. Awesome welcome tonight to the club. The turtles aren’t going away don’t let your holy grail go anywhere!
  4. Both this printing and the fan reprint of vol 4 issue 29 have innocently gotten caught up in the after sales market and now years winds up being more confusing than ever intended.
  5. Impressive you found most them in the wild! Good luck with the search, you're so close now!
  6. Now you have the rare opportunity to display them all together somehow! Or print them onto tees ;) (I'm kidding really don't print them on to tees!)
  7. Awesome, which issues do you need to complete your run? Good luck!
  8. Many thanks @Turtle I will check these out. Perfect comics you have there too
  9. That's an insanely awesome space you got there! It has it all! I'd love to bring my comics round and read them forever
  10. Hi guys, it is really snowing here and I just wondered if anybody knows of any festive or winter issues from TMNT vol's 1-4. I feel like spending my weekend reading snowy episodes of the turtles!
  11. Does anyone know if volume 4 will ever be continued or is it almost certainly finished? I'm just curious what other vol 4 fans predict?
  12. So I finally got my first CGC graded slab back, it looks fab! I've not removed it from the plastic bag yet. I'm just curious though, what do people do with theirs? Do they hang them on the wall somehow? Present them in some way? The slab looks awesomely presentable it would seem a shame to put it away in a box now that I have it back. Just curious with what those with experience do
  13. Did the 1986 ones look the same and just dated 1986?
  14. Nice. Is that the original backdrop? I am used to this image with plain black backdrop
  15. Hi. The auction ended but I’m not able to see what it sold for.. does anybody know please? Thanks in advance
  16. That's awesome thanks. So if my comic was graded a 9.8, which it has potential it could be worth $19,000? Which is more than the cost of a very low grade first print issue 1?
  17. It could still be more sought after in certain circles, like circles who already have a first print looking to compete their collection
  18. Yep so if you have one I'd hold on to it cause they ain't frequenting
  19. Please forgive my ignorance but I am not sure how to read this? What is this telling me please? I wish I didn't have to ask and seem dumb but it looks telling
  20. What will you do now that you have completed your 9.8 mission? That's a heavy fate to have accomplished already?!
  21. Thanks a lot for sending me the link. I will definitely keep an eye on this for a rough value but mine is not signature signed. Only signed at the convention back in 1985
  22. I think it is definitely possible but to a very specific buyer. Someone who is a TMNT fantastical, has cash and already has a 9.8 TMNT everything else and wanting to complete their collection. Is a counterfeit issue 1 currently worth more than a genuine first print 2? I think both issue 1 and issue 2 are heading to the stratosphere. I'm not sure issue 3 may get there but the Peter Laird variant might. The mystery for this comic is what makes this comic awesome in both storytelling and true life phenomena
